I have a hyundai sante fe sport 2017 would it be the same procedure as you have directed. And also is it necessary to change the spark plug cap (part that is used to plug on spark plug) as well. Can i also get spark plugs that comes pre gapped for my hyundai? Thanks!!!
Some spark plugs come pre-gap already. You also can change the initial coils as well with the spark plugs, but in this case this vehicle just needed the spark plugs change can you subscribe to my channel if that’s cool
Thank you for subscribing to my RUclips channel I also have a video on here showing you how to change the brakes on this vehicle as well check it out. If thats cool
This is Mechanic never checked the SPARK PLUG gaps with a Gap Tool and he screwed them back in without a Torque Wrench! Both of these can be found in the Car Manual or Online and YES, THEY ARE IMPORTANT!
I Replace them With High Ignitability Spark Plugs.; OE-Recommended Gap: 0.044" and i gap them before putting them on and they come pre gab as well and thenk you for the comment and save the hate for another channel may god continue to bless you and your family 💯
@drumsnbassinyoface7276 yes and you right get get a spark plug socket that fits the spark plugs cause it has a rubber boot in the inside of the socket to grip the spark plug better
It’s usually around 15 to 25 ft/lbs but careful cuz new plugs have crush washers that need to be tightened enough to seal. I usually tighten them to about 35 lbs or so, then back them off and retighten to spec. Be sure not to over tighten - go by feeling
You show the replacement of THREE spark plugs. I assume it is a SIX cilinders engine. You decide the back ones were too much of a pain in the ass to replace so leave them there?
Its a four-cylinder meaning it has four spark plugs do your research or just pay attention to what I’m doing and watch the whole video. Maybe you’ll learn something my friend thank you for watching my content and good luck
The only 2 things that are missing is that you did not put anti-seize on the spark plug threads. This will make it easier to remove the spark plug next time instead of being baked on. Also need a torque wrench to tighten down at require spec.
Thank you 😊 you saved me so much money

So you said it's a 5/8" extended for the socket wrench right?
Yes Sri can you subscribe to my channel if thats cool
I’d use one specifically made for spark plugs or they may snap the plug in half at the ceramic center.

Ignition coils need to be replace too??? Help me
Yes if they need to be replaced but I would change the ignition coils with new spark plugs just to be on the safe side
So for the late response

Pretty sure they're supposed to be tightened to a specific pound/foot measurement with a torque wrench GUYS
that's true... but when you do it so many times in your life, you know how much is enough :)

I had to take them back out but i did it thanks for the comment may god continue to bless you and your family
With iridium plugs this is unnecessary
@@generic_account2138 I dealt with threads being baked on stuck. I don't want to deal with that again.
I rather not take that chance. I've seen threaded bolts get stuck with high temperatures
@@generic_account2138exactly none required
