I just bought rice vinegar for the first time in my life 😅. Need it for a Korean fried chicken recipe that I saw. I'm from Nigeria and it's not something that we use typically. Next thing on my list to hunt for is gochuchang(not sure I spelt it right). Been seeing it in so many videos 😀

If you just want the flavor of rice wine in your food and you don't want the acidity of the vinegar, you should use rice wine. But if you also want the acidity in the food, you can use rice vinegar.
It deepens on the recipe you're using because the flavor of rice wine is very different than rice wine vinegar.
