EdgeTX Snippet • How-to Disable/Enable the Touch Sensor with a Switch

- This is a simple little feature to show you how to disable the screen touch sensor in the event you feel it needs to be off. Currently available in the nightly version of Edge. It will be included in the 2.6 release coming in a few weeks.

You seem to be one of the most knowledgeable people with edgetx. I recently updated to edgetx on my tx16s, originally the touch screen worked just fine. Now it only works for one touch after powering on, after that it fails to recognize me touching the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated
After it stops working, see if toggling all of your toggle switches one time to see if it comes back.

You're welcome. I'm not aware of any way to disable hardware buttons.

You can use a text widget.
Wouldn't it be better to use one of the "push button" switches (1-6) for this feature??? Are the CNC gimbals worth the extra money??? Thanks, I was wondering about this.
Better? You can set it up however you want. Do what works for you.
What if you use that switch for like landing gear too?
Does edge supports internal Bluetooth module for head tracking? I tried on my tx16s and it wouldn’t show up so I went back to opentx and it shows up.

Hello I need some help
After following this video to update my tx16s my touchscreen stop working and some buttons are wrong like Model is on Return and Return e on Model button
How can i solve this problem?
Sounds to me like you flashed a Jumper T16 firmware instead of a Radiomaster TX16s firmware.
Make sure to emphasize that you are referring to global functions and not global variables,might confuse new listners, although you could have a situation where you are using global functions with global variables.
1) @0:34 I specifically mention the example uses global functions which applies to all models.
2) You cannot set functions like this using global variables. You’re thinking about specifal functions which are model specific functions.
3) Global variables cannot conduct actions. They are numeric variables used in different places throughout the radio.

I don't have that feature 😕 im on version 2.5.0. what is your version?
Well I dont have that on the firmware I have, you might find out what versionn you have , not everyone has that option
