I am 100% back when the Black One and its brothers and sisters are 100% back. You lost me with all the PR(B)S. Hey, it’s just a guitar… NO, its a soul and vibe thing.
Hopefully he continues to use the black 1 more. This is great!
Yes, enough of this PRS shi……
@@goswodude I’ve never hated the prs but when I hear the black1 it’s just hard to be satisfied with the prs😂
@@christtv3576 very true. I dont hate it. To me its just a guitar without soul and vibe 😀😀
John Mayer’s Gravity and The Blk 1, live, keeps us all perfectly grounded. Forever beautiful. Love it. Love him
Such an iconic moment. 4 years later, the BLK1 gets back on stage
Dang...This is a whole new level of gravity...And the Blk 1, the icing on the cake.
The black 1 returns 👀
Thankfully! The return of real tones!
whoaaaa another solo that will be forever be implanted in your brain
So good to see the Black1 again
That is a truly great sounding guitar, even if it is hard to play. Check out the new chops John is showing off too!
Is there an interview or article somewhere we he says it’s hard to play?
@@BluegrassBackcountry here is a documentary on that particular guitar ruclips.net/video/7BOwDm-WER8/видео.htmlsi=jT_qg5DiI-7v-PA5
@@BluegrassBackcountryyeah the neck is warped
i read somewhere that he raplaced the neck on it to make it playable, but who really knows for sure besides him and guitar tech!

Damn this guy is really good at guitars
Can't deny the Fender is the guitar for this
This is the first time I have ever seen JM use a looper on stage. He starts recording himself from 3:09 to 3:20 then solos over it
He’d done it several times before this year, he even uses a looper on his piano (on ‘changing’), you should check it out if you haven’t!
Check out the performance of gravity he did at berklee. Blk1 and a looper. He also played who did you think i was by himself which is always a treat
I love this man🎉🎉❤❤❤
I didn't realize how much i missed seeing him play Blk 1 on stage! 🥹
so happy to see the blk1
new best version of gravity

Madison Square Garden
The tone is not that different to silver sky, he changed a lot the amp and pedals settings maybe
The is marked difference between the tone of a strat and a silver sky.
@@davidharding200 yes maybe, but y still hear sobrock not continium
Its a bit warmer than the silversky defiinitely. But I do hear more of sob rock tone too!
I'm with you...and I think the Silver Sky sounds better tbh
OMG BLACK1
At least they tilted their phone to landscape
Honestly disappointed he didn’t play this in Philly. 😢
The guitar is not so black.
It's more like Beat up and Old.
Wish he'd used Strat with Dead & Co.
Love Strats… But missing the Silver Sky right about now.

The solo sucks, doesn't sound anything like the record nor like the gig he did in LA way back.....
For sure dude. He should just play the same exact song, the same exact way, note for note everyday for the rest of his life... smh
LA was goated tho, this ones vibe is more chill i think
Of course it's more chill. It's him, a guitar, and his loop pedal. No full band
