I from when it came out to 2010 still miss it...Know people still playing it today, I'd also like to keep playing but no time to do so due to my job ofc
They are finally releasing the permanent PVP server that's going to be locked in this golden era before TSO. Beta starts on April 6th, server name is Tarinax. EQ2 Discord is poppin pretty good, even the Russians are making YT vids about their return to the game. The same ol rivalries look to starting up again. It's going to be great, hope you guys make it :)
I remember doing the betrayal quest line, which was such a great challenge back in 2005, and finally arriving in Antonica to kill 500 gnolls and 5 nameds to this music. Met some great friends on the road.
Everquest had probably the best music I've ever encountered on a video game, aside from maybe Chrono Cross. Truly immaculate, Sony did an amazing job at the music production. Love your extended vids mate, finally someone did this.
My first real lesson in not knowing what you've got until it's gone
Memories. So many immersive moments have been spent there. I played it in 2004-2006.
Played from 2006 to 2011! Best game! So much communication at night was, raids, vipes!)

Same here. I could actually cry. It's amazing how many memories I have with this game and some of the great people I got to play with.

Ackk, my heart...
This is one of my favorites. I'm running around Antonica right now!
I'm glad I found this extended version! Thank you @Xaelvik_1!
"Have you ever seen a gnoll before?"
Keep playing lol
what is the melody from 0:52 ? - i'm sure it's similar to a classical composition
Pretty sure it's by Darude, title "Sandstorm"
It sounds like a Waltz tbh
It reminds me a little of blue danube
It always reminds of dragonquest 8
