His point about western leaders never going to Arab countries to preach gay rights was especially apt. It's condescending to us Africans how they only have the guts to do it in our land. We must make it clear to them that we are not their lapdogs and have our own culture. If they want to cut aid to us because of gay rights then we turn to China. Simple

@@maynardnkambule71 you're completely mistaken my friend - it is the ANC, the ENTIRE ANC. Part of the disguised negotiations prior 1994 was about how to retain the liberal values established by whites (meaning they already existed in the country) and add more if necessary. That's why you have SA adopting lots of these abnormal practices. All these extreme behaviours that the US and Europe are promoting are part of the liberal agenda - and just like a disease, replication is in the design. The push back by some countries, Uganda of late, is in fact a push back against a disease and an extreme sport called liberalism. As for SA, liberalism is the core and quintessence of the constitution.
The real road to freedom in SA was stopped dead on it's tracks in late 70s and so everything else was about turning a cage into a game reserve, and the ANC, whether consciously or not, allowed it occur. Of all presidents Mr Mbeki did much of the pushback like African Renainsance, resisting foreigh aid, writing off legacy debt, etc. hence he was hated by the US and West and he didn't succeed nonetheless. There is little any president or political party can do without dismantling the liberal design so you don't find anyone in SA embarking towards that direction. The prevailing thought amongst the political contenders is that they can make it work regardless the design - and that of course will happen in the dreams.
