Today I’m checking out the Oraimo Ice Maker! The Oramio ice maker makes “the good ice”. My favorite ice!
Nugget Ice -also known as Pebble Ice and Sonic Ice - is the best ice because it comes in small chunks that are soft and chewable. It is the most satisfying ice to chew on. Pebble ice chills drinks quickly and doesn’t melt as quickly as crushed ice. For anyone who enjoys an icy beverage on a hot summer’s day, Pebble Ice may be your new go-to cocktail companion.
Endless Supply of Chewable Nugget Ice - With more than 1 lbs per hour production, plus an ice basket that holds up to 3.3 lbs Nugget Ice and a 2.8 L water reservoir, you don't have to worry about running out of Nugget Ice.
Easy and Worry-Free to use - Make Ice with just One Press. We provide one-year after-sales service for Ice Maker. You are welcome to contact us with any questions.
Refill in 2 Ways - Oraimo Ice Maker Countertop provides two ways of water refill, water hookup and manual. It is recommended to use pure water or connect with water filtration system to prolong the service life of the Ice Machine.
Automatic Cleaning - To keep the Pebble Ice tasting fresh, we recommend that you carry out self-cleaning at least once a week. You just need to press “CLEAN” for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning function.

When I first found your channel quite a few years ago, I quickly learned two things about you. 1- Your passion for Diet Coke. 2- How fussy you are about your ice... Sonic being your ice of choice. This machine looks pretty decent but way too costly unless you really go through ice (or are particularly "fussy" that way). Me?.... I don't use much ice and my refrigerator's icemaker does the job when needed.

I think when you take the ice out of the container and put it in the freezer it's still "wet" and more like slush than ice that's why it becomes one big block in your regular freezer.

They recommend distilled water or filtered. I think if you use tap water, you just need to clean it more. To prevent the minerals from building up.

A little tip, whether it's store bought ice or from your ice maker, put the ice in a double brown paper grocery bag.before placing it in the freezer the bag will absorb the moisture and you'll have no clumped up ice.

I’ve been researching ice makers for years now and I’m so leery to buy one because of them breaking down, screeching and grinding, let alone the sh*tty customer service and run around if it does. (Frigidaire and GE being some of the worst with the screeching and bad customer service)
This one doesn’t seem too bad at all. I think I’ll wait for Prime Day and see if the price comes down a little more.
Right now, Amazon has it listed for $299.
    Thank you for this review!!!

Thank you so much for this video. I can't justify spending $340 on an icemaker (I have been dying to buy one!). I can't fit 20 LB of ice anywhere (that is what it is sold as in most places) and I don't like big ice. I prefer different than you and Sonic but I do like this ice maker. When you were cleaning it, did it explain what it is doing to clean it? I guess I will look that up because I am curious if it is just washing itself with water to clean. I just really appreciate your honesty and thoroughness and thoughtfulness in your reviews, especially with products like these (and of course with food and drinks!). I noticed when you were about to clean, you scooped all the ice out with the scooper, which was cool, but I was wondering, can you remove the basket (or is it too heavy?). I am amazed that it is 40.1 LBs empty! How much ice (in lbs) did it make, if you know?

Publix ice in their deli department is good ice, and they don't charge me for it. I usually get two of the largest cups full and one medium cupful. When I get home, I divide the large cups into freezer bags and enjoy the medium cup. The ice clumps, but a few bangs on the counter works great. 😏 Thanks for the review! 💕

Hi 🙂 I just got this ice maker and have made 5 batches and I did 3 cleanings with vinegar and then 3 with regular water, and the ice still tastes bad. I’m using purified water so idk why it tastes so bad. How long before you got good ice? Thanks for your great review!!

The price would be a hard sell for me. I can see this as a good thing if you would be entertaining a small group. It looks like you have to plan ahead to when you will be needing ice. I don't know if it could keep up with a large party. I love the "good" ice but after it has been put in the freezer it loses its specialness as it is no longer "soft".

Hi Cathy, I bought two from Walmart total two from Walmart for $183. They worked fantastic. They hold a gallon of water in each one. I use it a lot with the bigger Ice each one is equal the size of your first knuckle on your thumb. The one that you interviewed or reviewed sucks. It’s a piece of junk that I would never buy it for that price. But thank you for your review you’re always so patient.❤

use zip-lock freezer bags .they are a little thicker and a little stronger than normal bags. I use them all the time when making ice. the bullet-style ice machines are around 100 to 200 dollars and the nugget ice machines are around 300 and up. 🧊🧊
