That was a grizzly. Hump is visible. Mountain lions or cougars have much smaller heads. All bears do not hibernate straight through the winter. Occasionally they venture out for a snack.

It's a bear. Boars will come out of hibernation at any time for a snack. Given this video was taken in April, this bear could also be emerging out of their den for the season. They will now start making their way to lower elevations.
Any close proximity to a grizzly out in the wild is terrifying. “Good momma grizzly bear...now that we are up close and personal, you and your cubs look soooo cute!”

I'll never forget my experience being chased by bear Hume lake Christian camp I was down by the river where the water feeds into the river it's like a waterfall and there's a bridge I was fishing right underneath the bridge right by the bridge when a bear showed up on the other side of the river I stood on one side he stood on the other I took a Polaroid picture that's the kind of cameras we had back then I heard the rangers up on the hill yell get out of there so I turned around and I started to run up the hill where the rangers were before I knew it the bear was right behind me I could feel his breath breathing down my neck as I was running up the hill I thought for sure I was going to get eaten I was so scared I ran as fast as I could he was right behind me I can feel him touching my heels and my feet when I saw the ranger car he was driving by I grabbed a hold of it he began to pull me my buddy was on the back of the car he pulled me into the truck and we took off the bear followed up to 200 yards behind the truck when we were clear the ranger said you were almost eaten that was my bear experience
