13 kW Home Generator

Our previous video showed a 10 kW Perkins generator being put together. This one is a 13 kW generator using a Perkins engine. It is 1.5L vs. 1.1 Litre. It also uses a Mecc Alte pancake alternator, but it is all mounted on a 50-gallon fuel tank this time. 12-gallon size is the standard size one. These generators are so easy to maintain. Do your regular air oil and fuel filter changes; you can expect over 20,000 hours of life out of them. If you need a larger fuel tank, we also offer larger 100-gallon tanks, but that's not required for home use. But we do have different options depending on your needs.

I had a Generac 3.0 which was rated at 50 kw. Don't understand why this Perkins is only 12 do you have a 20-25?

Those portable generators you saw are from 10 years ago. We build everything here now. Nothing made in China.
