ALL GENERAC units if NOT DIESEL, ARE ALL 3600 RPM., ave seen 7800kw, that were diesel, BU T are single cylinder 3600rpm air cooled.electric start. Cheers from NJ
@@ramellin The compression in a diesel engine is much higher than a gasoline or propane engine, which is why they are built with thicker cylinder walls. With such high compression, they can manage load better at lower RPMs while staying within voltage/amperage tolerances. Gasoline engines would bog down under light load and easily fall out of the proper RPM tolerances to maintain consistent output.

Mine is mechanical governor on the side of the engine for speed control, increase Hz /Volts increase, not as precise as electronic. It’s Aurora 20kw.
