Now we're both men and your style is so much more distinguished and refined. And it's as if you're playing a harmony to the original song like a father guiding his son.
It's so hard to articulate the way this makes me feel. We're both grown up now. I'm having a son in a week. Makes me realize how far we've come.

Now over ten years later I find myself still drawn to the guitar and trying to relearn this song. So happy to see that you are still around and how you have grown.

This is the first song I ever taught myself because I saw sungha play it, and it was very hard and i didn’t get to learn the bridge and not as smooth as his.... and now you made an even harder rendition of it??! This arrangement is much more beautiful than before, amazing.
The song still hits hard even after being used so much. So long as one understands that the piece is about literally flowing, one can understand how beautiful it is.

His cover of river flows in you is what got me into playing guitar. Wanted to learn to play like how he played it. Once i learned it, i was done with guitar 😂 i still watch his videos and he never cease to amaze. He also really grew up so fine, only getting better at what he does over time. Much love from 🇵🇭
When I heard this Same piece played by SJ for the first time about 9 years ago, I wanted to learn it anyhow and got myself a guitar and that's how I discovered my talent. This piece will forever remain my favourite. Thank you Sungha Jung for the inspiration you gave me.

It never ceases to amaze me how sound waves can immediately affect my train of thought, emotions, and mood.
A lot of guitarist cover this song but they dont have the feel on it they just want to show how good they are, that they forgot the feel of this song sungha jung he really know how to deliver this song properly it doesnt feel rush and the song has all the time in the world to breath and you can feel the pulse of this song beating smoothly this is how it should be covered not in rush as if your in car chase
I remember listening to this cover 10 years ago and me immediately wanting to learn it myself on the guitar back when I was a 13 year old kid, and I kinda did, it didn't sound that great but it was the hardest song I've had learned up to that point. Also, I still have your canon rock in my head.

The years went by really fast... I don't play anymore but I look with a smile back to the past. :) I performed his arrangement back then for my music exam.

I watched your River flows in You during middle school and was so amazed. I really regretted no picking up the guitar. Now I'm half way through college, and today I picked up the guitar that was in my house and started learning. Watching this video just made me realize how fast time is passing by, and if you want to go try something, just go do it. Don't leave any regrets.
My fav guitarist (fingerstyle) is Sungha Jung and my fav bassist is Charles Berthoud. Both are DAMN AMAZING in their own field. If these two can play their instrument together, my life would be complete!
