A maximum macro experience. Superb work wit the shrimp, frogfish and nudibranches. Makes me more anxious than ever to return to Anilao for more dives. Thanks.
I really love this video. It is a fabulous summary of what Anilao has to offer. How many dives did you have to do to make this video?, and what equipment did you use?
To take this footage I spent one week diving in Buceo Anilao. I used a Sony RX100V camera in a Nauticam housing. Some scenes are taken with a Nikon D7100 in a Sea&Sea housing
Hi, the cushion at 2:00 is an anemone: they can wrap the tentacle area with the bottom mantle which can have very intense colors, like purple, red, green... The mushrooms at 2:08 are called Lollipop Tunicates, and they are the favorite food of that nudibranch. At 5:57 is actually a table hard coral. Sea fans are more flexible coral polyps structures that usually grow in a vertical pattern rather than horizontally. Although you can find some horizontal sea fans too
it depends on what I am looking for. For nice coral reefs I like "Beatriz", for macro critters I hd very good dives in "Coconut". For night dives "Anilao Pier" . But actually each dive site has its own character
One of the best videos about Anilao. Quality is superb, footage is amazing, music selection is just perfect. I watched it several times already.
Glad you liked it

What is that cushiony thing at 2:00? and those mushroom shaped things at 2:08? Is that a Sea Fan at 5:57? It's thicker than any I've seen before.
