Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 20 (The Defect Ascension 1 Run 8)

I said this was run seven but its actually run eight! This was a good run we had a nice thin deck allowing us to cycle through it and get to the cards we want more quickly and frequently.
We found a Streamline early and a Hologram to boot and kept a nice thin deck allowing us to hit hard often and put up enough block with cards like Boot Sequence, Leap and Cold Snap creating frost orbs. We also found some really nice relics early like Ornamental Fan and Kunai REALLY pushing us towards wanting to attack at least three times a turn, and becoming more of an attack focused deck rather than defensive. With that in mind I started grabbing cheap cost cards (attacks really) that could trigger both the Ornamental Fan and Kunai, cards like Claw and Beam Cell were early pick ups as they acted as an extra attack I might get to trigger the relics on a turn with unfavorable mana on attacks. Of course Streamline becomes cheaper enabling it to trigger the relics even better as the fight went on. After the first boss we grabbed a Seek, and my thought process was Seek the Streamline and play it as often as we could scaling with our Kunai strength. Cards like Hologram could bring it back and then I just need to create defense to survive until it comes back around.. It was a decent plan but Streamline itself cannot carry a deck. I needed more damage. Later in the run we did pick up an a few more nice cards like FTL to draw and another free attack for our relics, and things like Echo Form and a Bottled Lightning relic to start with an upgraded seek allowing us to pull two cards to our starting hand (99% of the time its echo form and a defensive card, creating a slow turn one where we would mostly set up) we also grabbed a Reprogram that eventually got upgraded to just help us hit harder and end fights faster but sadly, we got a little tangled in spaghetti at the end.. I liked this deck but it just wasn't strong enough.
