Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 32 (The Ironclad Ascension 4 Run 1)

The first run in this episode was a bit of a dud, but it went by so quickly we were able to get squeeze another run in the same video and not only was a quick run, but we got a SICK little deck! Our first snecko deck!
This deck really started as a defense deck. After getting my face smashed in, I opted for two Metallicizes early, and an Entrench to give us both passive block, and to double my block. I figured.. cant kill me if you cant kill me, right? But slowly we picked up a Bludgeon, which of course I had to upgrade.. HOW MUCH DAMAGE FOR THREE ENERGY??? And since we were already leaning into so much block, I snagged a Juggernaut which would do so much lifting for us throughout the run honestly.. But it wasn't really meant to be until we beat the slime at the end of act one. Not only did we get a Barricade to retain our block, but we also decided to have some fun and take Snecko Eye for the first time, a relic that RANDOMIZES the energy cost of every card you draw from now on.. I figured with how many expensive cards we had, it would do amazing things for us and only after we locked in the Snecko Eye did I really lean into this idea. Early into act two we grabbed an Apotheosis from a shop and our first Immolate.. yes first. We ended up getting three Immolate's, The Bomb which was so much fun, AND a Demon Form. This thing was truly insane and for it, I've named this deck "The Eye That Peered Through The Door" a bit long for a deck name but its a reference to our Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch lets play.
