    Sir,
    Why this all wall penetrations should be two side fire sealant,Floor penetrations only one side??

      because the floors are fire rated?

      The fire can spread from room to room, so there needs to be firestop on both sides. Floor systems are designed to be firestopped from the top for access, and to contain the fire below, and plugging the hole from the top

      1.If the barriers are 3hour fire rated, can use two-hour Fire stop system?
      2.Two hour fire rated wall,we can use 3hour system?

      @@nisarkuttiyil600 3hrs needs 3hr firestop 2hr can use 3hr but it won’t be 3hr rated
