Everyone's voice performance in this is very good. Especially Dracula, able to go from hilarious to heartfelt in an instant.

I actually really liked this series, it has a special charm that I loved. I agree the animation was great! If people go into this series with the idea just to enjoy it I think people would love it.
Only watch 1-3 4th one is terrible they changed voice actors and the story is dumb

Gendy Tartakovsky is the Genius. I love how he has brought his 2D artstyle to live and his creative vision has made this franchise feel like a 2D movie in his iconic style.
It emphasizes more in each new sequel, so you'll notice it pretty soon!
Gendy directed Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, the Primal, the original 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars.
And he worked on My Life as a Teenage Robot and Powerpuff girls.

Sony has promised to greenlight his Papay sailor man movie (trailer for which you can find on RUclips) if he'll make more Hotel Transylvania for them, but they've cancelled it, thinking that Emoji Movie is much more valuable.
So Gendy understandably left the series, but his iconic style and creative vision still remained this series strongest side.

@@KindredKeepsake However, recently Gendy has made a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery (Aka. Cartoon Network) to work on a number of new project, from the original ones, to ones based on Warner's properties. Warner Bros stated they respect his creative vision since he has worked with them before on such great shows.
Also if you stop Hotel Transylvania 3 and 4 at literally any frame, you can see it looking like a 2D image, and even imagine it being drawn in the style of shows Dexter! Unrealistic simple anatomy, over the top cartoony faces, 2D composition, his iconic exaggerated poses.

this one is the best of the four they just stop looking as good as it goes on and there more of just stuff happening then the balance of some fast things and some slowed down moments like this film

I'm glad you did this one. Sandler's portrayal reminds me so much of Count von Count from Sesame Street (1, 2, 3, 4, AH, AH, AH!) so this film has many pluses. Also, it was really fun to laugh along with you cause there were so many jokes I forgot like that twilight reference. The fact they had "Edward Cullen" randomly shirtless in the woods, brooding, had me rolling. TOO true haha. I also love the character of Count and the underrated back story with his wife. I always thought the book that said "a zing only happens once in your life" was such a nice touch. It made me really feel for Count and why he was being so over protective. A very simple story as you said but it's such an enjoyable film full of Sandler-esk humour. FYI, mr. invisible was voiced by David Spade (also known as Llama Face) :)

This is definitely the best Hotel Transylvania movie. I’m under the firm opinion that this could have been the only movie and it would have been great. BUT the sequels are pretty fun.
Me and my partner first saw this movie on holiday in Spain. It was pouring with rain, so the hotel put some movies on for the kids (they had a cinema room) And this movie was on first. We both loved it. Its not what we would watch normally, especially my partner, as we were both in our late 40s then. It was so funny, and in parts, sad. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, it's a great movie. 👍 🎬

I really need to someday have a sit and watch this, I could be missing out giving it the brush off for so many years. This looked so fun and sweet. And funny. I may not watch Adam Sandler movies, but I've never seen the voice work until now, so I've become intruiged ☺. Recommendations: Smallfoot. The missing link. Early man. It may not be Halloween in traditional sense but crypted and such is technically Halloween. Also Scoob from 2019 I think it came out? It's on HBO/Max

Eight Crazy Nights was bad imo. But Adam is a good singer, his SNL songs were awesome

He’s actually pretty grounded despite being famous, tries to be more of a blend-in sort of person like Keanu Reeves rather than being arrogant about being in movies.
He's known to be pretty down to earth and quite humble. Never been the biggest fan of his work myself, but I recall reading only good things about him when he's off-screen.
