I got this thing recently and it’s the best vacuum I have ever owned or even used. My dog sheds more than most huskies or samoyeds and the pet attachment completely cleans my thick carpet in one pass. Worth every penny.
It take a lot of power for those cyclones to spin out all those dust particles out of the air efficiently. Putting that kinda power in a cordless vacuum is hard. Probably be a couple of years for it to have enough power to spin out all that dust.
i really hope that Dyson re-make their uprights to match the configurations that their barrel and cordless models (v8) have such as the new hygienic emptying system, a metal inner shroud for fine particular separation, red snapping connections, and 2 tier small cyclones. Only their small ball models have this, but I'm talking about their full sized uprights (ex: Dyson ball animal) and should come attached with cyclones as small as the v8, or their big ball multi floor barrel vacuum (canister model, non-cinetic). And one more issue, is that Dyson should re-engineer their uprights, where all of the air flow should go to the top of the dirt bin, like their canister and cordless models, instead of a big center air duct that leads to the motor. When you empty the dirt into the trash, a dust cloud can float into the air duct, and go down into the motor - shortening the lifespan of the motor eventually, and more post motor filter cleanings.Plus some sort of a headlight on the cleaner head would be stellar. I've just helped Dyson re-create their uprights, and hell, they could be working on this right now. Only God knows. Well Dyson, I hope that I've given you some ideas on re-creating your uprights. If you do this, not only will you attract a lot more customers and making more money than you're already making, but you'll have created an absolute perfect vacuum cleaner rated at 1000/10.
@@blackice7408 oooh shit I didn't even notice lol. The Upright vacuums have been the same basic design since 2014 though. They haven't made any fundamental changes to how the air is routed through the machine since then. I'd like to get the UP24 or new UP34 model in the states though. They don't even sell the most recent version here.
My parents have bought a dc08 a long time ago, and it was genious. I bought a newer model for my new appartment and was highly disappointed over the decline of userfriendlyness and quality. To adjust the telescope pipe, detache the head from it or detache itself from the hose, you need both hands now. And the slide-in mont for it on the back is crap, it doesn't hold it propperly at all. When carrying it up and down stairs this is dangerous.
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. I'm not sure from your message which Dyson model you own, but our latest generation of cord-free and cylinder vacuums include our new quick-release connection design. As the catches are on the tools themselves, this makes the process of removing and changing floor tools and accessories much easier and more user-friendly. With regards to the tool storage clip on the rear of the machine, the intention is for this to be used when the machine is stored away after use. In the User guide we recommend carrying the machine up and down stairs holding the wand securely in one hand, and the machine in the other. If you need any help with your machine, just give us a call freephone on 0800 298 0298.
Hello Jack, very nice to see you care for your customers. Please excuse me if I used the wrong model name or false terminology. To clarify, this is the one my parents have: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/415000VZ8WL._SY300_.jpg This is the one I got: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71waVkYFxiL._SY550_.jpg On the first one, the release buttons are all on the parts that are supposed to come of, and are quite comfortable to operate. The release grip to extend the wand goes both ways and is also on the part that is supposed to slide. One doesn't need to take the main hand from the handle for any adjustment. The mount for the wand isn't perfect, but steady enough, that I don't need to worry about the wand falling out when carrying it that way. And when I walk up or down my narrow spiral staircase, I'd rather have one hand on the railing. On the second model, all these things aren't anymore. Unfortunately I only noticed the differences after I bought it and used it for the first time. After half a year it still bothers me somewhat every time I use it. Maybe I'll see if I can get a different wand sometime. I see that the, apparently even newer, model in this video here has the buttons on the better ends again, except for the button to extend the wand, and look slick. I remember seeing this one at the store aswell, but didn't buy it, because I wanted the one my parents had and I knew was perfect. Also this one would have been quite more expensive, and in my opinion does not look as pleasant (I find the spherical look somewhat ugly, and feel like it isn't as steady on the ground). Be it as it is, I still find dyson a good company, and find your inovativeness admirable.
Somewhat similar to my family's experience. My dad bought a DC17 back in 2006, when it was new. That vacuum is still going strong, and works like it was bought yesterday. Our v6 Absolute (the cordless one) is great, but the plastic connectors are worn-down and rattle, and most of the time you have to shake it around to get the electrical connectors for the spinning brushes to work. Still a good cordless vacuum, but I wish the quality was better.
Hello Dyson - I have new carpets of the thick and soft Triexta type (an improved polyester). The rotating brush head of my DC39 Animal digs in really badly and is almost impossible to push. Will the rotating brushes of the newer vacuums work with this carpet type, or do I need to be looking for something without a rotating brush? I don't have pets and there isn't much fluff about. Thanks for any light you can shed on this :)
+Alex Shepherd Hi Alex, it's Jack at Dyson. The new Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ Animal shares its turbine head design with DC39 Animal, so you may find that a floor tool that doesn't include a brush bar is the way to go for your particular carpeting. If you'd like some advice from our customer support team, just let me know which country you're based in so I can put you in touch with the correct people.
@@dyson I asked my husband to get big ball animal pro 2, bit he got the Parquet big ball, and it doesn't seem to be good on picking up hair and fur from carpets. What should we do?
Hi Dyson wow this looks amazing for a canister this looks pretty good I'm a vacuum collector and putting back up the vacuum automatically would be handy most canisters have a problem tipping over excellent job 👏👏
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. Unfortunately I can't yet confirm an exact launch date for the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ canister in the US. Please keep an eye on www.dyson.com for any updates.
Hi Johan, it's Jack at Dyson. This should be possible, but buying the Dyson Big Ball Musclehead and adding on the carbon fibre Turbine head separately could work out more costly than simply buying the Dyson Big Ball Animal to begin with. If you can let me know which country you're based in, I can put you in touch with the right local Dyson Support team to discuss this further with you.

+Dyson UK Thanks for the helpful reply. we already bought the Muscle head model actually. But it's not an urgent need to get the other brush, especially not since we could get one at a later date if there is nothing technically different between the Animal Pro if only for the specialized brush.
Hi Johan, with the exception of the colourway, the Dyson Big Ball Musclehead and Dyson Big Ball Animal will be the same, with the exception of the floor tool and additional accessories included with each. So if you decide to order the carbon fibre Turbine head later as an additional accessory for your Dyson Big Ball Musclehead, this shouldn't be a problem.
I inform you that when we unpacked the box at home we found that the box in the box did not match the model shown on the Dyson .ro page. the problems I find are: The vessel where the dust is collected does not have that button / red rod for Emptying the container, in the presentation clip on this model should have existed, I attach photographers. We also found that the carbon brush filters turbine head (which is featured in the promotional video) is missing from the box.
Yes indeed. The DC39 is a pain to empty - the bottom flicks open but the fluff doesn't come out - have to reach up around the mesh and clear it out with the fingers... clumsy and messy... and the cleaner still falls over despite the ball-shaped wheels. I've owned three Dyson models before the DC39 and they were all fantastic - so I'm happy to give them another chance
+David Chen Hi David, it's Jack at Dyson. The new Dyson Big Ball and Cinetic Big Ball™ were launched in the UK on 13th April. We haven't yet launched these machines in the US, and at this time I can't confirm when this may happen. Please keep an eye on www.dyson.com for any future updates, as new Dyson technology will always be featured here.
A lot of people don't understand but the bagless technology is not superior to the traditional vacuums that everybody hates because they are too heavy and ugly. The problem with Dyson is that they are over-engineered. What does that mean? It means that they try so hard to create something that does EXACTLY what they want it to do and they don't stop to think about what is actually the most logical thing and the best for the consumer. Many "commercial" vacuums utilize a direct air system which means that the fan directly contacts the air flow and the motor is in the same space that the dirt passes. Designing it this way helps the motor last a long time because it is being cooled by the air that is passing by. The dirt then travels directly into a bag that is made out of HEPA material so it is just as hygienic as any other vacuum. Dyson doesn't sell their vacuums, they sell their lifestyle...which is a problem because many people will shell out the money because they think they are buying the best when in fact they are buying something far inferior to what is available. Dysons are the top-shelf vacuum in stores so people buy them because they are marketed this way. The same think goes for ALL of their other products, except maybe their hand-dryers Another thing that many people don't realize is that vacuums were originally designed to be bagless but they started to add bags because of the terrible mess that you end up with when you try to empty the dirt. You still have to deal with this dirt mess if you ever want to clean out your Dyson dirt bin or else you will lose suction and your vacuum will start to retain bad odors and get clogged with dirt, pet hair, human hair etc., so you still have to deal with the disgusting mess. With a direct air system you don't have to worry about this because there is no where for the clog to occur and the bag that apparently is such a chore to replace is completely sealed and you can just throw it away when its full. As far as I am concerned, Dyson vacuums and products are a scam.
I bought a dc08 many years ago and it was a brilliant vacuum. When it died I bought the newer model and found it useless. Semi ok on wooden floors but dreadful on carpet. It was like a child’s plastic toy. Very disappointing given the cost of the vacuum.
The people at Dyson are the masters of over-marketing. If you ever take a good look at their machines, it's a fancy-looking piece of plastic that does not lose suction, but most certainly loses airflow which is very important for deep cleaning carpets. :) Cool looking machine though! :)
+Chopy 61 They lose airflow becuase it's a bagless system and the filters get plugged up. If it loses airflow and you place your hand over the hose it will still have suction. Sure they are better than most bagless vacuums, but place that Dyson up against a Rainbow or Riccar and it will be out cleaned!
The kinetic tips eventually become caked with dust so they lose their effectiveness. At that point the motor filter is then taking the brunt. so if you dont clean/replace the filter the vacuum will clog and lose its cleaning ability. Or the dust ends up in the motor.
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ cylinder needs no pre-filter as the Cinetic™ tips, oscillating at up to 5000Hz, are so efficient they capture even microscopic dust particles and allergens. But there is a highly-efficient post motor filter - this is sealed within the body of the machine and cannot be accessed. The filter is engineered to last the lifetime of the machine without needing to be washed, replaced or maintained.
And can you Dyson please STOP making air driven brush head on the corded vacuum? They simply "sucks" and I don't mean in a good way. Powered brush is the way to go, it doesn't take many engineers to figure that one out.
+Kevin Ping Hi Kevin, it's Jack at Dyson. No, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ isn't cord-free - the cord is shown retracted when the machine is not in use, and is being pulled from one location to another. The cord is visible in shots where the vacuum is being used for cleaning.
+Dyson UK Could you possibly make this with an electric power head instead of the turbine head. As an electric driven head means you lower the wattage of the suction motor and still have great performance
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. Our engineers are always busy improving our existing machines, as well as inventing future technology. Unfortunately we can't comment on any technology in development, so you'll have to wait and see what comes next!
Dyson UK ..Hello I'ts Angie.K again..Iam very amazed by your latest cinetic cyclone techology..No filters no clogging pores..I finally decided to buy one of your latest models this month .But I'm very comfused of which o e is preferable to buy of models mentioned below:The Model DC54 animal cinetic and the big ball cinetic animal pro.. as they seem to be desighed with the same cyclone techology and each vaccum cleaner provides about the same tools, they are both in a different price range..what are the differences in between them?... .Thanks for your helpful advice so far
Why you can not manufacture a cleaner that is quieter? Your vacuums are still so loud. Current year standard is below 60dB, or at least for Bosch (59dB) and Electrolux (58dB).
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. It's important to understand that it's not just the volume of sound that's important, but also the quality of the noise. Acoustic engineering is an important part of the development process for new Dyson technology. Our engineers target specific frequencies to improve the tonality of the sound - both complete machines, and individual assemblies within the machines, are assessed during the testing process. They evaluate the machine in our own semi-anechoic chamber, honing every duct and airway to minimise the sound and vibration of high-speed dirt and air.
+Evan Saylor Hi Evan, it's Jack at Dyson. If a blockage happens to occur - for example, if an item too large for the machine is accidentally picked up - this is quick and easy to resolve. Just follow the steps shown in our video guide: ruclips.net/video/SxpwmCPj6uU/видео.html

Dyson Türkiye authorized service lost my vacuum cleaner, which was sent to the service under warranty. The device was not working properly since i bought. First i send it to the service, the service sent it back to my home without repairing it. I had to send it to the service again because it was still unusable, and they lost my device in the second service time! Did they specifically delay it until the warranty expired? This carelessness is unacceptable. they do not know where my vacuum is. I demand a new machine.

Hi Leyla, Generally what can change between models will be attachments included and in some cases the technology behind the machine. For example, this video will be for the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Cylinder Vacuum. A key feature of this machine will be the Dyson Cinetic tips located in the cyclone that prevent the need for any filter washing, while you still enjoy HEPA filtration. Please consider live chat on our website or contacting Dyson UK directly at 0800 298 0298. We're happy to help!
Dyson UK Thank you for the information. So which dyson is the better one. has the dyson big ball animal one got any filters to clean. and is it big enough for a biger home? has it got a good capacity. Sorry what do you mean by hepa filter? Thankyou.
Hi Leyla, Yes, the regular Dyson Big Ball™ Animal will have one filter to wash. Anything with Dyson Cinetic™ science will mean no filters to maintain. HEPA refers to a filtration level which is standardised. In the case of the Big Ball range, they all feature HEPA filtration. In terms of capacity for homes, these are the largest cylinder models we currently do and we have introduced a larger bin on the Big Ball range than in previous models. It should be great for your needs.
We're sorry for our response in English but it's great that you are getting on so well with your Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ vacuum. If you need any support in the future, please contact our team in Russia using the details found here: www.dyson.com.ru/support/contact-us.aspx.

my son through a piece of chalk Down it's neck when I had the filter bucket removed after pulling the thing apart getting deep down into the internals it does have a massive filter deep down inside it a very big one you will need to pay for a service or do it yourself to get to it very silly design
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. All Dyson Cinetic™ vacuums include a highly-efficient post motor filter, but this needs no maintenance or replacement throughout the lifetime of the machine. It's there to capture fine carbon particles from the motor brushes. As you've mentioned, it's not accessible to the user as it doesn't need to be. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ vacuum shown in the video includes an intake guard that prevents objects from entering the internal airflow duct that leads to the motor, so it sounds like you may own a different model to the one shown. If you need any further help with your machine just let me know which country you're based in, and I'll be happy to put you in touch with the right team.

Funny that your own video make no sense, when you see the dust its not going that way at all,"00:03" The suction is on the upper site of those things, that means that it most likely suck the air into it and not spit it out.the filter under it stops the dust.thats how air flow works. Am i the only one how see this, including dyson them self 🤯🤯🤯
Thanks for your comment. We're interested to hear why this is your opinion. Cyclone technology offers increased suction power meaning more dirt and dust will be collected by your machine. This improved design means these Dyson Cinetic™ vacuum cleaners are more efficient than previous models. Best wishes.
@@dyson the key problem in this design is the rolling ball design... It can't get roll 360 degree with ease . And the user atlast have to drag it rather then to roll it .and if it's wet and dry cleaner then it's weight will be greater on use of liquid cleaning... Design looks cute but rolling wheels at bottom will make it more efficient. Thanks
The entire purpose of the Dyson Ball™ technology is to make our machines easier to move around. This has been tried and tested. We're sorry to hear you haven't found this is the case.
Dyson has a powerful absorption engine, but a completely ridiculous system for collecting dust and garbage. The brush has a wrong design and does not allow most garbage to enter the collection tank.... 😳😩😩😵😵😰
Cinetics are prone to failure without cleaning, without proper motor prefilters depending upon the wonders of" Cinetics" this model is gaurnteed to self destruct from dust building up in the motor with no protective traditional filters. Cinetics are idealistic for scientific purposes not mass cheap consumer use, this is the worst vaccum model to come from Dyson. It needs filters as well, this is marketed better than it is, there's no guarantee they won't fail or wear down allowing particles to enter the motor

i really hope that Dyson re-make their uprights to match the configurations that their barrel and cordless models (v8) have such as the new hygienic emptying system, a metal inner shroud for fine particular separation, red snapping connections, and 2 tier small cyclones.

To clarify,
this is the one my parents have: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/415000VZ8WL._SY300_.jpg
This is the one I got: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71waVkYFxiL._SY550_.jpg
On the first one, the release buttons are all on the parts that are supposed to come of, and are quite comfortable to operate.
Ordered mine. Can't wait.
Are you satisfied after 3 years?
Nice hope u enjoy

Would it be possible to buy the Animal Pro carbon brush separately and connect it to the "musclehead" Big Ball?
I inform you that when we unpacked the box at home we found that the box in the box did not match the model shown on the Dyson .ro page. the problems I find are: The vessel where the dust is collected does not have that button /
red rod for Emptying the container, in the presentation clip on this model should have existed, I attach photographers. We also found that the carbon brush filters turbine head (which is featured in the promotional video) is missing from the box.

Ok but what about carbon emissions from the motor. If there is no filter. How is carbon dust prevented?
it has a filter for this purpose.. people are surprised to find it as this is marketed as no filter

So if I dragged it down the stairs it’ll fix its self and continue rolling?
No it wouldn’t do it on if it was toppled on the stairs

+Dyson UK Hi Jack, thanks for the info! Looking forward to seeing this model later on this side of the pond. More power to you guys! Big Dyson fan :)
+David Chen Hi David, no problem at all. Glad to hear you're such a fan of our technology!
How much is this vac $499 I'm guessing
The same think goes for ALL of their other products, except maybe their hand-dryers
Another thing that many people don't realize is that vacuums were originally designed to be bagless but they started to add bags because of the terrible mess that you end up with when you try to empty the dirt.
Nope. I own their air purifier hot/cold fan. Best purchase I have ever made! Works flawlessly
@@hawkboy000 One would hope so, especially if you shell out $500.
I bought a dc08 many years ago and it was a brilliant vacuum. When it died I bought the newer model and found it useless. Semi ok on wooden floors but dreadful on carpet. It was like a child’s plastic toy. Very disappointing given the cost of the vacuum.
Incredible. I hope upright is next
The people at Dyson are the masters of over-marketing. If you ever take a good look at their machines, it's a fancy-looking piece of plastic that does not lose suction, but most certainly loses airflow which is very important for deep cleaning carpets. :) Cool looking machine though! :)
And what makes you think that?
+Chopy 61 They lose airflow becuase it's a bagless system and the filters get plugged up. If it loses airflow and you place your hand over the hose it will still have suction. Sure they are better than most bagless vacuums, but place that Dyson up against a Rainbow or Riccar and it will be out cleaned!
Prove it
It does have one oat motor filter but you never have to clean it
The kinetic tips eventually become caked with dust so they lose their effectiveness. At that point the motor filter is then taking the brunt. so if you dont clean/replace the filter the vacuum will clog and lose its cleaning ability. Or the dust ends up in the motor.
Hello, Does this thing still have a filter as a precaution?
Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ cylinder needs no pre-filter as the Cinetic™ tips, oscillating at up to 5000Hz, are so efficient they capture even microscopic dust particles and allergens. But there is a highly-efficient post motor filter - this is sealed within the body of the machine and cannot be accessed. The filter is engineered to last the lifetime of the machine without needing to be washed, replaced or maintained.
Dyson UK is the filter hepa certified?
@@C61music yes it is
I see no cord behind the vacuum, does that mean it is wireless?
And can you Dyson please STOP making air driven brush head on the corded vacuum? They simply "sucks" and I don't mean in a good way. Powered brush is the way to go, it doesn't take many engineers to figure that one out.
+Kevin Ping Hi Kevin, it's Jack at Dyson. No, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ isn't cord-free - the cord is shown retracted when the machine is not in use, and is being pulled from one location to another. The cord is visible in shots where the vacuum is being used for cleaning.
+Dyson UK
Could you possibly make this with an electric power head instead of the turbine head.

Bring a corded upright vacuum cleaner to Turkey. Dyson DC42 broke after 12 hours.
Why did Dyson even create the product if the company wants to ban vacuum cleaners that use as much energy as it does?
Dyson Türkiye authorized service lost my vacuum cleaner, which was sent to the service under warranty. The device was not working properly since i bought. First i send it to the service, the service sent it back to my home without repairing it. I had to send it to the service again because it was still unusable, and they lost my device in the second service time! Did they specifically delay it until the warranty expired? This carelessness is unacceptable. they do not know where my vacuum is. I demand a new machine.

Hi Leyla,
Generally what can change between models will be attachments included and in some cases the technology behind the machine.

Thank you for the information. So which dyson is the better one. has the dyson big ball animal one got any filters to clean. and is it big enough for a biger home? has it got a good capacity. Sorry what do you mean by hepa filter? Thankyou.
Hi Leyla,
Yes, the regular Dyson Big Ball™ Animal will have one filter to wash.

Mağazaya Dyson marka elektrik süpürgesi almaya gittiğinizde süpürge kesinlikle kırılmaz deyip oradan oraya vurarak 5 yıl da garanti veriyoruz diyerek satıyorlar. Daha 2 yıl olmadan süpürge başlığı kırıldı. 3 kere kere Servisi arayarak bildirdim. Her seferinde telefonu açan arkadaşımız bir önceki arkadaşımız kayıt açmamış stoklarda yok, ben şimdi hallediyorum en geç 1 hafta içinde elinizde olur diyerek insanları saf yerine koyarak yanıltıyor. Stoklarınızda yoksa neden 5 yıl garanti veriyorsunuz diye sorduğumda haklısınız diye cevap alıp, hizmet alamıyorum.
Kaç lira
Funny that your own video make no sense, when you see the dust its not going that way at all,"00:03" The suction is on the upper site of those things, that means that it most likely suck the air into it and not spit it out.the filter under it stops the dust.thats how air flow works. Am i the only one how see this, including dyson them self 🤯🤯🤯
Its cordless
Im here from bebba big
Look wise design ke s good but not that much efficient
Wow
Dyson Cinetie Big Ball so Clean so good😊👑 $269💵💵💵💵💵!!!
It's so heavy
Weak pussy
Dyson has a powerful absorption engine, but a completely ridiculous system for collecting dust and garbage. The brush has a wrong design and does not allow most garbage to enter the collection tank.... 😳😩😩😵😵😰
But in real life it’s corded
Cinetics are prone to failure without cleaning, without proper motor prefilters depending upon the wonders of" Cinetics" this model is gaurnteed to self destruct from dust building up in the motor with no protective traditional filters.
Cinetics are idealistic for scientific purposes not mass cheap consumer use, this is the worst vaccum model to come from Dyson. It needs filters as well, this is marketed better than it is, there's no guarantee they won't fail or wear down allowing particles to enter the motor
