Such a nice song, but all i can find about Rob Cosma is a Cleveland obituary? His is the kind of music one ca listen to and feel pleasantly entertained
Seeing that Record Exchange ad featuring the original home base on Coventry, I can picture Harvey Pekar making his frenzied rounds there, compulsively adding to the stash of his Jazz-passion that could so-easily tempt and transform a good man into something less in the bargain…
@Cleveland I can very easily picture that, as well as the fact that in 2024, that 1979 Dollar Bin that Harvey kvetched about, no doubt would yield gold in today’s inflated vintage vinyl marketplace…
@jeffkaufman9875 i love pulling those out and having my mind blown. Best example was "Bryter Later" by Nick Drake...literally got 500 times what I paid!

I agree...I had never heard his music before seeing old ads and asking about his music. Pretty darn good stuff...I feel privileged to share it

He was a pill in the store...whined about the dollar bin daily
Kicked out more often than not "time to leave, Harvey"....."oh man...I am a good customer" and on and on....
This was my era at Record Exchange
