Amazing full length video for beginners. Thank you, and don’t pay attention to the negative comments.
So glad you found the videos helpful! Thank you!
I've done glass for a number of years and I just learned something new! Wish I had your glass knowledge at your age...looking forward to your other videos!

Good video, nice step by step with explanations. I like it.
Wow, I so enjoyed this video. Very new to stained glass. I am from North Central PA. Now going to watch your other videos. Wonderful teacher, thank you for sharing your gift.

Loved this tutorial, I"m just starting out, so thank you! Unrelated - your ring is soooo beautiful!
So glad you found it helpful! Thank you!
Per the other comments, thanks! A couple of shortcuts I haven't seen, especially the patina while cleaning. The fitting with the natural swirl of the clear glass is amazing. Great job!
Thank you so much!!
Good morning 🌞
This was a great video!
I have never seen someone patina there piece while it was still wet after washing it. I can't wait to try that as I have always made sure it was completely dry first. Always something new to learn after 24 years of doing stained glass myself. Thank you for your time.❣️
Thanks so much Lisa! I’m so glas you found the video helpful!

Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Thanks for this! Was super excited to see a new video today, as I recently binged all your other ones, haha. You make this whole process seem so easy and it’s got me excited to give it a go at some point. And I love the way this piece turned out!
Im curious, what are the differences in copper foiling and leading and are there benefits to doing one versus the other? Obviously there’s probably lots of RUclips videos out there about it but I know you’ve done both so I’m curious what your thoughts are. Wondering also if one is easier than the other for beginners like me.
Thanks again and I hope you’re having a wonderful day!
I think both have different levels of difficulty. Almost everyone (including myself) start learning stained glass by using the copper foil method. And I think both can take the same amount of time and skill when making quality stained glass. Can you cut more corners using copper foil? Yes. There is no cutting corners when it comes to lead came, it can be very unforgiving especially when properly cutting glass. I definitely don’t think either is “easier” but I do think lead came is a more advanced technique in comparison to copper foil. Building a lead came panel is more difficult in comparison to just soldering pieces together with copper foil. Lead came also includes the use of cement. I always like to think of Tiffany when comparing techniques and although copper foiling was much much different 50 years ago compared to today. He still used both techniques in very ornate and detailed architectural stained glass windows. I think it’s a matter of preference for sure. At this point I would probably never go back to foiling because I enjoy lead came and its process so much more. Hope this helps!
Over explaining. Sorry. Or maybe too slow.
Sounds like you didn’t even need instructions so why even watch 🙄
She is helping the beginners, so very helpful. I for one am grateful.
