I don't know if you have any homeschooling doubters out there, but Caroline reading the narration just shut them all up. You are awesome parents; never doubt it. Also that was a nice touch when she steps into the lake view while narrating.
Caroline...you rock, girl! Your voiceover really enhances the level of video enjoyment. Great job! Utah is beautiful. I remember staring out of our kitchen window while helping mom do the dishes at our Hill AFB home near Ogden. We had a magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. I use to drive eighteen wheelers out of Salt Lake City and deliver produce at major cities west of the Mississippi. I loved the drive down to St. George where I plan to settle one day soon now that I've fully retired.
Caroline did a great job. Thanks much caroline. Your words describing the beauty of the rocks and scenery were perfect. I hope you decide to help narrate more videos.
Kudos to Caroline for her narration! Utah is spectacular, we are currently in the area of Zion, in the forest outside the park boundaries at an epic campsite on a wooded hilltop overlooking a grassy plain with wild horses nearby; good to see you guys back in one rig!
Really enjoy these real world family meet ups. You are a great source for family camping. So fun to see Caroline growing up and taking on new roles. I'm trying to turn my kids into my media arm as I never have the time to do anything more than grab raw footage. Ultimately, I'd like them taking photos, filming, running a drone and editting it all together for our enjoyment.
The addition of the new narrator (Caroline) is terrific. Quite a different story from the backpack to "star" of the show. Every family should enjoy life as ya'll do.
Funny how you mentioned "shaking your head in disbelief" you just don't know how many times I've done that same "head shake" just watching your videos. Thanks for making us feel like we were there with you!
Hello again from AZ. Kevin - I've always commented (for years) that your commentary is top notch. I really appreciate how you tie the adventure, the scenery, the history, etc...all together. With that said....look out! Caroline is coming for you! Thanks for sharing another amazing adventure. Safe travels.
Just spent a day out by Lake Powell a few weeks ago, and we just got home from a camping trip in the Escalante area on Wednesday. We live in Southern Utah and are big fans of your channel! Your 4Runner build actually inspired ours! When we saw you were in the area we were hoping we might bump into you in your travels! Utah has so many incredible places to explore! Have fun and safe travels!
We spent a windless night camping on the point one 4th of July and found ourselves enjoying a fireworks show put on by the many houseboats anchored down on the lake. But the real magic was that we watched the fireworks from the stars view. Great job Caroline! Fun Stuff!
Awesome idea on the diesel heater. I would absolutely love a little more info...model specs, battery build setup, how long it will run on said batteries, etc. Looks like a great solution to get away from Buddy Heaters.
Wish there was more kids that could experience as much as you have shared with Caroline's experiences, she will be on track to making a great orator, keep it up! Also loved the free advertising for the chainsaw, might have to add one to my ever growing Dewalt collection with that demonstration...
Wow, I can remember when you were just starting and Caroline was essentially an infant on the Enchanted Rockies Trail! Congratulations you have really created a wonderful PBS quality family documentary series. In retirement I decided not to hit the road but instead hit the links as I now work for Matt Huges at Rockwind; but I still enjoy your channel.
Headed out there around Labor Day. Wanted to wait till a little later into the fall, but still can't wait. Will be my first time in Utah, spent some time in Colorado last year.
Someone may had asked before, have you guys done any maintenance on the GX460 transmission, mine currently at 90K dealer told that the transmission is seal and the fluid is lifetime doesn’t need to be change.
Lots of Utah is like that - we always try to stay on bare rock or a wash if it's safe. Sadly, unlike CO or the PNW, there's not alot of wood around so it's best to let it be if you can.
Utah really is all that! It's why 25+ years after my first trip, I still come back nearly every year. When describing the West to those unfamiliar with it I characterize Coloarado as "Majestic" but Southern UT in particular is what the word "Awesome" is really supposed to mean.
Coming from 40 years of river running background we are mostly on dry ground now with a 10ft. home built trailer. I am glad to see overlanders are starting to embrace a leave no trace ethic especially when it comes to campfires. Would love to see more folks use fire pans as they have many advantages. I have come up with a great small group system that I would love to share. See my vids and Happy trails
I suggested a battery chainsaw and am glad you are trying one. I have small ones that are 12 inch bar and top handle , that are great for small jobs and cutting up firewood. The ziplock 2 gallon plastic bags help keep the oil contained.
Wow on the scenic vista's. Best small Chainsaw. It's super light. And get a carbide blade so it lasts longer sharp. echo 2511t My suggestion, get a good camera and start taking Panorama's. Then post and sell or have a meetup and have the pictures for sale like an art gallery. A lot of the Boat Life people do meetups at big boating events.
Your buddy may want to add a seal on his tailgate to keep the dust out. His stuff seems awful dusty. They make a great tailgate seal kit for pickups that really work well. Not perfect but a very big improvement. steve
Sounds like you got a couple of budding Utube stars there. What an amazing place. Can you imagine what it was like a few hundred years ago before the white man f*cked it all up? The drone footage was incredible as usual. Thanks guys. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
How about a thumbs up for Caroline's voiceover work?! #proudpapa
She did great!
Careful, she's looking to take over the storyteller role!
She's absolutely a natural!
It's been enjoyable to see her grow...she's about the same age as my daughter and I can hear similarities in how they speak as they age.
Loved hearing Caroline’s narrative!!!! Way to go kiddo 🤩🤩🥰🥰
It's so different and nice to hear Caroline doing oratory.....she does a wonderful job and her words add magic to your journeys! Thanks!
Totally agree!
Absolutely stunning scenery. Caroline is doing an amazing job of narrating.
I don't know if you have any homeschooling doubters out there, but Caroline reading the narration just shut them all up. You are awesome parents; never doubt it. Also that was a nice touch when she steps into the lake view while narrating.
Caroline does an OUTSTANDING JOB!! Please continue to let her do narration!! You go Girl!!

How do you find spots to camp that aren't regular camp sites?
Thanks for sharing the family adventure. Be careful camping in a dry wash.
Love the drone shots!

Way to go kiddo! Excellent job. Look out Dad you might get replaced. I am so impressed with this little gal. Keep up the good work Caroline!!!
Two thumbs up for Caroline 👍👍
Caroline nailed! Good job Caroline! Can wait for the video with the epic family road trip!
Caroline! You are a really great announcer! A true natural!! Great job!!!
Another beautiful episode! Thanks for putting it out there! Also great voiceovers Caroline!
The addition of the new narrator (Caroline) is terrific. Quite a different story from the backpack to "star" of the show. Every family should enjoy life as ya'll do.
Just got back from Kanab. Utah is diverse and beautiful. I live in Ogden and love it. Uintah mountains are stunning.
Funny how you mentioned "shaking your head in disbelief" you just don't know how many times I've done that same "head shake" just watching your videos. Thanks for making us feel like we were there with you!
Epic!! Two thumbs up for Caroline’s narration 🤗
Got me wanting to take a road trip up from Louisiana to Utah now looks awesome
Great job Caroline with the narrating!
Loved hearing Caroline narrate the video. Great job!

Thanks for sharing another amazing adventure. Safe travels.
Please always know the rain forecast for your overlanding adventure. You can be dry, but a rain storm 30 miles away can flood you out of the wash.
More naration from Caroline please. Her oratory is very clear and precise. I actually felt I was at the location viewing the beautiful scenery.

Well done Caroline. Great adventure as always.
Wow! Such views! Looks like a wonderful trip!
What wonderful formations and landscapes Utah has to offer, pleased you are enjoying your time there.

These Utah videos just reinforce to me that Florida is not where I belong. Really looking forward to my journey west, thank you for the motivation.
Good job Caroline! You were perfect!
We have a diesel heater like that in our ambulance and it's so awesome. The ticking was a bit to get used to, but it isn't as bad an annoying clock.
Wish there was more kids that could experience as much as you have shared with Caroline's experiences, she will be on track to making a great orator, keep it up! Also loved the free advertising for the chainsaw, might have to add one to my ever growing Dewalt collection with that demonstration...
The WOW factor is in full effect this travel. Awesome job all.
CAROLINE IS GETTING REALLY GOOD AT FILLING IN FOR MOM & DAD ! SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF HER ! WAY TO GO CAROLINE ! BE SAFE ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨

Awesome narration, Caroline, great job! 👍👍
omg , Caroline is growing up so fast !
Utah has some amazing scenery! Thanks for sharing
Uhhhmazing....so glad to come across your channel to see your travels
Awesome work Caroline 👍👍👍❤️. Great vlog you guys🤘
We have a ECO electric chainsaw which also leaks bar oil. I store it so the cap fill is up and no leaks. Great episode!
Great job, Caroline!!

The ford rapter looks like it would be a fun truck , but not a ton of easy dry storage room
Caroline stepping strong into the voice over game!
Caroline has a great little RUclips voice! keep up the great job Caroline!
If that was a part of Lake Powell in the background, Page, Az is hurting. Hope not. Be safe...you too Caroline.
So beautiful! I really need to go explore Utah!
Those heaters are awesome. Installed one on my Turtleback
Let’s go!! Premiere day
Caroline did an amazing job and should do the voice overs from now on! 😁
Awesome footage thanks for sharing 👍 🇺🇲🗽
The Vermonter
Wow on the scenic vista's.

I got to be the 1000th like. I've never done that. Lol. Excellent video as always. Caroline's voiceover skills are impressive. 👍👍
What?????? No breakfast video! Best meal of the day, coffee, ☕ eggs, meat, potato 🥔 yum.
Your daughter did a great job🌹loved your video!
Good evening everyone!
went to that spot about a month ago the view was crazy but the winds were crazy
you also drove passed a coal vein thats on fire. it was a cool spot to go to with the smoke coming up.
Niko gets it. Utah is the best "'cuz there's alot of rocks!!" 👍😁
We tend to use the term BeUtahful. Glad you are enjoying my home state🤘
Your buddy may want to add a seal on his tailgate to keep the dust out. His stuff seems awful dusty. They make a great tailgate seal kit for pickups that really work well. Not perfect but a very big improvement. steve
Owsome video guyz.
what was the general area you were in and what time of year was it , weather, temps etc ??? .......... sorry if I missed that.
Awesome !
It’s like being a kid waiting for Christmas morning...
favorite day!
What lake was that? Such an amazing view
I wish you'd shoot in 24fps and 180 shutter. 60fps feels more like tv/broadcast and less cinematic/story vibes. good stuff tho!
I just camped at a spot called alstrom point. Way to much wind.
New camera? Great video quality!!
Caroline did an awesome job!
What is the purpose of the yellow light on the red truck?
Use vegetable oil for bar oil that way when it leaks on the trail , no guilt.
Great video.
Beautifulness! Question, why not carry the tent on the trailer?
Didn't get time to move it before the trip... Also, threw my back out 🤦
@@LifestyleOverland got it. It can be a pain to move those things, completely understand now. Thanks!
Caroline does very well with oratory !
Three cheers for Caroline!
Love the videos, curious why Xplr runs those yellow lights front and back on his Raptor during the daytime? Am I missing their intended purpose?
We all try to run some sort of light for when the dust gets bad. It's just a small safety measure for visibility.
Kevin... I don’t like vegetables either brotha haha. I ain’t no rabbit.
Caroline did a very good job!
What route was this?
Caroline is the best 👍💖
Do you happen to know the gps at 6:38?
Where in Utah?
Please!
