The biggest worry i have with valorants weapons is that basically none of them have their own identity. If if we forget the fact that they are all just copies of CS:GO's guns, they still leave so much to be desired. In overwatch, heroes and their equipment are easily distinguishable at a glance, every character has a set of UNIQUE tools and weapons with an impressive level of detail. Valorant on the other hand has its guns looking very plain and very simple, most guns even share the sights, they are all somewhat black-and-orange with the default skin, and I wonder if its only me but sometimes I really have to look hard at a gun to understand what it is. Sounds are meh overall, they don't deliver the punch, maybe they are too similar as well, and the animations are just boring to watch, they are just nothing new.

I think the Judge model is based on the AA-12 shotgun, but using the drum mag version is a big mistake, the weapon only holds 7 shells, they should used the normal mag instead of a drum one Also, i think the reason why the weapons has almost the same design is to make people buy skins (If i made a grammar error, i apologize, i only know basic english)
Played both games. Valorant has a unique hero system (which I’m not the biggest fan of) but I think CSGO is more balanced and therefore more enjoyable. Also the lack of abilities and aim down sights in CS makes it more satisfying when you clutch IMO.

I like Valorant better than CSGO honestly even though I’ve been playing CSGO for a longer time of course. I think what pulls me in is the abilities since it’s sort of like overwatch, and I loved overwatch back then especially when at its peak.
Well, idk what to say. It's just how it always is in competitions. We try to best each other, not to help each other. That's normal. If you want to help and support each other then that's not a competition, that's a coalition. Which in this case, is not.
Valodant looks interesting which may lead to me trying it. It seems like a mix of CS:GO with the weapons and Overwatch with the abilities. An interesting combo for sure.

I played both and the c bomb site destroyed my experience. Search and destroy/refusal in every mainstream competitive game have only had 2 bomb sites. Art style is a clash of semi-realistic and futuristic guns, colorful characters and abilities and maps that look ancient compared to the guns. The map also looked like a tf2 map because of the color scheme. Skill ceiling is lower because of abilities removing some tactics but that is only my opinion about skill ceiling because you never know what strats pros can think of. Map is way too complex for the style of the game.

Imo valorant is still in beta and we should see what riot has planned for the game.

Played valorant, It felt like a csgo copy for 5 year olds. Still fun when you cant play comp in cs cuz of "kicking too many teammates". I kicked one and that's all.
In my opinion, both games have their own identities. Sure, you may prefer ones visuals, gameplay, and sound design, but that doesn’t mean the other one is udder trash. I’ve been playing Csgo for around 5 years now, and valorant since beta. Both rock. Csgo feels punchier, while valorant feels more streamlined and “swift” if that makes sense. The gun sounds reflect that. Valorant is an awesome entry in this genre, and I hope it gains a loyal community similar to that of cs.

Valorant's weapons looks less powerful than csgo ones. The viewmodel animations while shooting has no recoil in valorant, and some weapon sounds remind me of an airsoft gun.
I do believe that Valorants weapons look more powerful that CS:GO ones. Just look at the shotguns or snipers, Vandal looks amd sounds great too. In CS:GO shotguns are literal boomsticks, and recoil looks bad.

I love both Valorant and CS:GO! Valorant is interesting for the heroes, their lore and abilities, and they make funny interactions with each other thorough the game. Also this game has better sound system that allows you perfectly hear footsteps and it doesn't hurt ears when you die. CS:GO has more interesting game modes and is more fast paced than Valorant. Anyway, Riot did a good job with Valorant that makes it as interesting to play as CS:GO, if not even more.

Ive never played CSGO, (only CS 1.3-1.6, Condition Zero and Source) but mainly play Valorant now. Seeing how every gun from CSGO has a Valorant equivalent is weird. Riot could have at least added more unique weapons in Valorant instead of relying on distinguishing itself from CSGO solely on the agent abilities. Though Im enjoying Valorant cause it takes me back to my old CS days. Too intimidated to learn CSGO now lol

Playing valorant after csgo was kinda hard. Their spray patters are not similar at all. You cant use the same spray techniques in valorant by the way.

CSGO is better tho
I played both and the c bomb site destroyed my experience. Search and destroy/refusal in every mainstream competitive game have only had 2 bomb sites. Art style is a clash of semi-realistic and futuristic guns, colorful characters and abilities and maps that look ancient compared to the guns. The map also looked like a tf2 map because of the color scheme. Skill ceiling is lower because of abilities removing some tactics but that is only my opinion about skill ceiling because you never know what strats pros can think of. Map is way too complex for the style of the game.
@@kaeroseon I agree with most of what you said, the maps are very colorful and thew characters are different because its the style of the game, now in the skill ceiling i agree rn it is really low, like a lot of pros are getting bored because they have reached the top of the game, and I agree it is a really bad issue and it has to be fixed, also i dont think it affects most of the people who play the game because most of us will never reach that, BUT it affects to people watching tournaments and high level gameplay. Imo valorant is still in beta and we should see what riot has planned for the game.

Played valorant, It felt like a csgo copy for 5 year olds. Still fun when you cant play comp in cs cuz of "kicking too many teammates". I kicked one and that's all.

In my opinion, both games have their own identities. Sure, you may prefer ones visuals, gameplay, and sound design, but that doesn’t mean the other one is udder trash. I’ve been playing Csgo for around 5 years now, and valorant since beta. Both rock. Csgo feels punchier, while valorant feels more streamlined and “swift” if that makes sense. The gun sounds reflect that. Valorant is an awesome entry in this genre, and I hope it gains a loyal community similar to that of cs.
TL:DR, both are good. Both Valorant and Csgo have swift, responsive, and guttural gameplay.

Valorant's weapons looks less powerful than csgo ones. The viewmodel animations while shooting has no recoil in valorant, and some weapon sounds remind me of an airsoft gun.
I do believe that Valorants weapons look more powerful that CS:GO ones. Just look at the shotguns or snipers, Vandal looks amd sounds great too.
In CS:GO shotguns are literal boomsticks, and recoil looks bad.

I love both Valorant and CS:GO! Valorant is interesting for the heroes, their lore and abilities, and they make funny interactions with each other thorough the game. Also this game has better sound system that allows you perfectly hear footsteps and it doesn't hurt ears when you die. CS:GO has more interesting game modes and is more fast paced than Valorant. Anyway, Riot did a good job with Valorant that makes it as interesting to play as CS:GO, if not even more.

Ive never played CSGO, (only CS 1.3-1.6, Condition Zero and Source) but mainly play Valorant now. Seeing how every gun from CSGO has a Valorant equivalent is weird. Riot could have at least added more unique weapons in Valorant instead of relying on distinguishing itself from CSGO solely on the agent abilities.
