oh my goodness, thanks so much! i will following this tutorial to start making junk journals. i have all the bits and pieces, ephemera, stamps, tea dyed paper, paints, digitals etc. but i realized i didn't quite know where to actually start! :D So grateful !
I always go to you as a trusted teacher. Your instructions are always wonderfully understandable. I know that your book would be a valuable asset for anyone beginning to make journals.
Hi Donna. I'm new to your channel and I am so impressed! I found Junk Journals at the beginning of the pandemic lock-down, so I've made many since then. But I am always trying to learn new ways, the right way, to do them. And you just hit the nail on the head. Your videos are concise, clear, and easy to follow. A big thank you for your efforts. I, too, am a chronic pain sufferer, having broken my back in high school doing gymnastics. I find my time in my craft room isn't pain free, but being creative takes my mind off of my pain and makes life enjoyable.
hey Karen! it's so nice to meet you 😅 you have picked a great craft to do it's like you said "being creative takes my mind off and makes life enjoyable" so many think like us thanks so much for your beautiful compliments 🙏♥︎♡☆🦋 crafty hugs Donna

Another idea is to use very thin elastic and tie a knot on the inside. one for each signature! This way a page can be taken out to embellish and slipped back in under the elastic. New sub. Hi Donna, I have received and printed out your ebook yesterday. And was my favorite vintage style as well😊, thank you so much for all your generosity sharing and teaching❤
I am crazy about that Women's weekly home journal June 59 edition, I think it is, and cannot find it anywhere in the US. Darnit! I love love love this tutorial, also! First time viewer and new subscriber, thanks for all of the tips and clear education . The page guide was brilliant, and so was the validation that it doesn't have to make sense when picking out what pages you decide to put in the journals. I am a fan of the vintage style and have dived in deep to the collecting stage since discovering junk journaling, about 2 months ago, and I see all these tutorials with digital kits, which are beautiful, but I so love holding a piece of paper or fabric that has a history, and wondering about who held it or wore it and what the story is behind it, etc... I am not disparaging digitals, bc I have bought a couple, but I am so interested in the vintage collectibles and adding them as pages and ephemera, and I always questioned why in the world I felt compelled to put a beautiful botanical page in the journal and also, tuck an ad for a 70s Chrysler in there, as well. Lol Thank you for giving me the permission by saying it doesn't have to make sense.

Not too big (not enough room for that) not too small (unworkable) but just right? Able to see how my own work flow goes. Now, to just get back to creating. @@jennr7500 I'm getting straight to the meat and potato! lol I like to add a blank, semi blank or lined paper in between each patterned or book page paper. That said, I also add 75% printed/book page papers and less journaling paper bc that's my style of journaling (not much lol) I suggest you make your journal 75% (e.g) blank and lined papers and then a few book pages and pretty paper for fun sake. You can even add 100% of blank/lined papers and journal away, and then glue some little images that relate to what your writing about on the day. The balance is in your control to enjoy xx
