    If you are looking for arduino beginner projects you can start right here with the Audio Hacker and the example code they provide. You can download the Audio Hacker library and access the example code in Arduino IDE - this is great for beginners. As you get familiar with the program you can alter the code or create your own code to accommodate your own unique project.....just just use the code they provide. Today we are looking at the real time voice changer example. This is a fun example and we show you how to disguise your voice with this Arduino voice changer. It can be used on Arduino Uno, Mega, Leonardo and Duemilanove. There are many other examples and possibilities for using Audio Hacker. I hope this video was, at the very least, a little bit helpful. Look for more videos using Audio Hacker in the near future. Thanks for watching!

      Hey there! Thanks for the question. The short answer is yes, you can use this over the phone.
      The easiest way to do it is speak into the audio hacker microphone and place the speaker close to your phone so they hear a distorted voice.
      It's really easy to use over your computer. I have used it in zoom meetings and video games online. If you have a way to speak on the phone through your computer, that would be a really good way to do it.... a voice of IP or some integrated phone network. You would basically connect this audio hacker between your amplified microphone and the pc.

    Hi. Thanks for this, I've just purchased the audio hacker & shield along with a cheap portable voice amp and microphone set to use in a costume. The mic & amp work on their own but if I put the amp in the output of the hacker it's constant static and the mic doesn't seem to produce anything. The only thing I'm thinking is the mic isn't getting power to the audio hacker, do you think a small battery powered one would work?

      Hey Mike! Let's get this up & running for you. First of all, did you install the library? Do you get any messages thru arduino ide serial monitor? Can you tell me which mic and amp you are using?

      @@BMonsterLaboratory Hi there! Thanks for your help, much appreciated! (reposting this as I think RUclips deleted it due to having a link in it) . Everything seemed to install okay, the only message I got was an install successful one after I uploaded it. The mic & amp I've got is a JCWY "Voice Amplifier, 12W Rechargeable PA system (1200mAh) With Wired Microphone for Teachers, Tour Guide and more (Black)" which I got from the UK Amazon page. Thanks again for your help!

      @@mikec6096 You need active speakers and active mic for this. I have used many speakers on this (soundbar, Oontz Angle 3 pro, recycled speakers connected to an amplifier. The only mic I have ever used is my Blue Yeti, and it has it's own amplifier. To my knowledge, you have to have external power on both. I looked up your headset and speaker and I'm thinking it may have an active speaker but not an active mic - am I correct on this?

    • @mikec6096

      @@BMonsterLaboratory Hi, I believe so, the amp is rechargeable on its own power but the mic has no power by itself, I'll have a look into a smallish powered one to test that out. Thanks!

      @mikec6096 9 месяцев назад +1

      Just an addendum here, the powered mic I've picked up works and the settings on the board work as anticipated, however the amp still has a lot of static, even before the mic is plugged in, wondering if its just that unit itself.

    • @BMonsterLaboratory
      @BMonsterLaboratory  Год назад +1

      I don't believe the sram is used for RT voice changer. You're not saving any recordings using that option. The SRAM is for recording/playback of stored audio samples. check it out here -> nootropicdesign.com/audio-hacker/ best of luck with your project! 👍

    Do you think this could run separate from a computer and just be run with a power bank?

    • @BMonsterLaboratory
      @BMonsterLaboratory  2 года назад +1

      Hi Kent! I haven't used it as a portable device but you should be able to. You only need the computer to load the code onto the Uno. I think there may be a problem with hearing your own voice over your disguised voice unless you connect it to a loud speaker or large PA system. If you could find a way to isolate the sound of your normal voice, that may work as well. Good question! I will try it out tonight and let you know how it goes.

    • @BMonsterLaboratory
      @BMonsterLaboratory  2 года назад +3

      Yes you can. You have to use a microphone that has it's own power supply. I'm using the yeti blue mic and it's powered by a usb cable. I'm using oontz angle 3 pro speaker. they sound really good together and you can turn it up loud enough to drown out your normal voice in real time. I tried using a lapel mic that that plugs straight into the aux jack and it did not work. I hope that helps. If you need a picture just let me know

    • @BMonsterLaboratory
      @BMonsterLaboratory  Год назад

      Hi there! You can use the Audio Hacker shield/uno as a stand alone, sure! You will need a power supply to plug into the barrel jack of the Uno and a speaker and mic plugged into the Audio Hacker. You should connect an amplified speaker to the Audio Hacker. It can drive a small 8 ohm speaker, but for big sound you a speaker with it's own power source. An amplified speaker powers the speaker drivers and boosts the audio signal to produce sound. You will also need a microphone preamplifier or an audio amplifier circuit to boost the microphone signal. I hope that helps! 👍

      Hey there! Was this the video? ruclips.net/video/fy28FCZDGVk/видео.html You can do this by using the Audio Hacker board without the DJ Player shield. I believe he is using a B500K or 10K Linear Pot Potentiometer on A0 or A1 to change the bit rate / sample resolution.
      The product website says the DJ Shield uses three 10K linear potentiometers connected to analog pins 0,1,2. If you need any help, let me know....happy to help where I can
