The STH-10 will always send a shiver down my spine. It's a beautiful thing, but it's also spooky.
INSANE ECHO!
i think i’ve might have spotted one of these sth-10’s before, and i have a couple pictures of it
How many miles was it from there
@@icomradiouser7144 isk, i’ve never been to that place
Does the sth-10 sit on top of the Cooperstown firehouse or elsewhere ?
It’s on a pole behind the station.
Does it also go off for tornado warnings?
No only for fire calls we don’t have tornadoes in NY
Smith Town Smith Haven has the STL-10A which I heard on December 22ond
Center Beach Smith Haven has an STH-10 and it sounds just like this one
Oooooooo
And a Model 5
STH-10A
Was this a test?
I'm actually not sure, since I'm not from that area (I was there for my niece's wedding).
This was recorded at 4:14pm on Friday, May 26, 2017, if anyone from this area happens to see this comment and can inform me whether they test this regularly or not!
@@KatTheFoxtaur Cooperstown usually sounds at noon everyday except sundays (as of when i moved from cooperstown in 2005) as a noon whistle and they also do sound for firecalls. Cooperstown has a Model 5 aswell at the intersection of Chestnut and Beaver ST. Sorry for the delay
@@KatTheFoxtaur goes off for fire calls some volunteer firefighters don’t have pagers
