Unconditional solidarity and believing in one's own tribe / nationality is deeply rooted in all people. It is not specific to the Russian people and it is hardly surprising that large parts of the Russian people are presumably behind Putin.
Once the war is over and Ukraine has hopefully regained its territory, we must win the peace.
Hate speech against the Russian people does not help much and although it is understandable that people in Ukraine feel differently, there must also be a path towards reconciliation and peaceful cooperation. Russia is where it is and somehow the Russian people must be able to see a future and a place in the world.

As the one girl said...she "doesn't support Putin because she's not 60". Meaning she didn't grow up under the oppressive blanket of the Soviet Union. She's still able to think for herself and she knows something's not right, even if she doesn't know exactly what it is. I hope there are more of her in Russia. The entire world needs them right now. The old guard has wandered like zombies for decades and needs to be replaced with the young people who can still think. Otherwise Russia is truly doomed as a country.

You don’t watch to be consoled - although I frequently am - but to understand this war from every perspective. The channel is hugely important. I did notice that support for the war had increased. But on the other hand young people often say there is no one in their circle of friends who supports Putin. They can be impressively articulate. I'm an old man living in the UK with a deep distrust of Russia based on the behaviour of Russia in the political and military sphere during my lifetime and of a great many Russian tourists who behave so badly when they travel abroad. The problem being the bad behaviour is not from Russian teenagers (this is the problem age group of British tourist behaviour abroad) it is from Russia adults and ignorant people of my age!
You are clearly a courageous young man with a social conscience and that gives me a little hope for the future of Russia other than the self-destruct Russia we see filling the headlines worldwide today. Your generation have a grave responsibility young man - you have to make Russia a neighbour no nation needs to fear or be protected from for fear of invasion. There has to be more Russia can offer the human race than mindless violence driven by psychotic politics or dogmatic thinking.
I doubt it will happen in my lifetime but I am lucky to live in a country which need not be scared of anything Putin can do because we have the ability to wipe out whole areas of Russia if Russia were foolish enough to test our resolve. Given that we would probably partner France and maybe even the US should Russia ever take that unthinkable decision to start a nuclear exchange.
So Putin's threats don't so much ring hollow with many of us, it's just that we have heard them so many times it has got to the point some of us are merely replying - Okay go ahead and do it then, be prepared for what happens next should you be so foolish as to think the UK (and possibly its nuclear allies) will not respond in kind. I will not trust a Russian but I have to hope the younger British generations can forge a level of mutual understanding and respect with their peers in Russia and consign Putin and his ilk to just one more chapter in the horror of what is Russian history. Good luck young man, I feel Russian authoritarianism will take even longer than your lifetime to realize how much it is at odd with the desires of much of the rest of the world. Dominating the world is not the answer Domiciling the world peacefully could well be. I admire your pluck.

People will judge Daniil, whether you like it or not. It's just human behaviour. If you don't agree with it, then you shouldn't make these videos and upload them to RUclips. It's part of the turf.
You also need to understand that Russia is seen as the agressor and even if the people seem nice people, they are seen as part of that whole as well. As a Russian, you are living on the wrong end of the stick and people will let you know. You are not the victims in this story, but the perpetrators.

But I hope people like you spreading the truth shouldn’t be jailed, Russian people specifically the young ones should know what’s really going on in your country that they’ll be affected their every day life will get worst once the sanction getting tighter. You and 1420 has the same objective to know the opinion of the ordinary citizens young and old. I hope many people will realize and participate in the political process and debate, it’s very important they can’t just be too naive.

He is doing a great job and I hope it helps to unite us more, although with the actual Russian government it will difficult. But you can see in his channel how you have the same proportion on nonsense that you can find if you do the interviews in Spain, or the UK.... except that you can tell a lot of people are afraid the speak, or they over support the Kremlin... Everyone knows someone is watching and it could have consequences.
