“Unconditional surrender”. That’s what the Allies fought for in WWII, and they got it. Hitler did not get his separate piece because we knew we’d be doing this again in the near future if we didn’t seek total victory. We should want that for Ukraine.
You are quite right, similarly to WWII the policy of appeasement failed against a dictator harbouring a deep resentment and a false feeling of his country having been wronged in the past, and been enboldened each time the allies rolled over. Unconditional surrender, yeah let’s go for that
16 million killed on the frontlines, 45 million civilians dead in WW2. We should want this for Ukraine, are you absolutely mad? People don’t understand what absolute victory entails. The Russians will use everything they have in their arsenal before they accept unconditional surrender. This means nuclear weapons falling on American cities.
Spot on! This war is here. If this war is successfully fought by Ukrainians and supported by us western countries, then China will be out in its place. A resurgent and strong western allies that won’t put up with dictators dictating to us more powerful countries. They know they will not win, so they will not fight the future wars. WW2 could’ve been stopped many times before the war started.
It was the Armistice that ended WW1, with Germany left bankrupt but otherwise untouched, & the Kaiser & his Generals putting their Jewish Finance Minister up to sign the hated thing. This created the narrative that Hitler used to brainwash the German people into believing that victory had been stolen from them by "Jewish treachery". That's why the Allies weren't stupid enough to not give Germany a taste of her own medicine to end WWII. Unconditional surrender brings unconditional peace! 🕊️
Ya, the logic is just too obvious. Europe is saving the equipment designed for exactly this type of battle. There will never be a better chance for NATO to defeat the Russian threat WITHOUT having to endanger a single NATO life. The hesitation is mind boggling.
@@wyskass861 Yea, I don't get it either. If the US gave 10% of their yearly defence spending to Ukraine this war could be over in 6 month, and then they could lower their defence spending with trilijons of dollars, when Putins Russia don't posess a threat to anyone any more.
Yes, but the USA has assisted massively thus far. More needed, for sure, but there are tough decisions involved. If Trump had been re-elected, he would have possibly pushed red buttons to launch nukes at Russia or Ukraine (depending on what side of the bed he woke up on).
He ran for the Presidency, but on every stop on his campaign tour hotels and speaking halls would cancel his reservations, the media would not cover him, his staff were arrested for various infractions or were mysteriously beaten. The Kremlin hand picks the candidates to run against Putin and ensures they are not serious campaigns.
Absolutely! But a huge segment of Russia have already been spoiled by Putin to embrace criminals and villains as their leaders. It’ll be a massive challenge to flip that mindset and convince them that they’ve believed in a big lie for several generations.
obama paternal grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, was one of 150.000 rebellious Kikuyu “blackamoors” forced into detention camps during Churchill’s postwar premiership, when the British governnment began its brutal campaign to suppress the alleged “Mau Mau” uprising in Kenya, in order to protect the privileges of the white settler population at the expense of the indigenous people. About 11,000 Kenyans were killed and 81,000 detained during the British government’s campaign to protect its imperialist heritage.

I agree with what Mr. Kasparov said about negotiations. Negotiations are to prevent conflict, but once fighting starts because those efforts failed, war only ends when one side prevails. If that is Russia in this case, then other countries could be in graver danger of attack by them, potentially invoking NATO making us directly involved, and China may be emboldened in turn, becoming a bigger threat.
Our response as NATO should give Beijing pauze. Or you mean our response should be to cower? Because I fear you're not grasping the dynamic at play here
When Messi has the ball, and is rushing toward the opponent's goal, does he stop and have discussions with the opposing team? No. Ukraine won't negotiate. Its fighters will push all Russians out of its country, including Crimea. Then it may negotiate - for exchange of prisoners and the amount of reparations Russian will be required to pay to rebuild Ukraine. $100 billion? ... more?
@@pauloaka697 My intention was to say that our support for Ukraine now is critical if there is to be a chance to stop Russia's agression there and avoid a larger conflict later. NATO would crush Russia if it came to that (with our ability to coordinate alone), but it would cost us more than money and surplus arms. Our response so far has given China pause, or Taiwan might already be under attack. As things stand, their invasion plan may be delayed by a few years as they continue arsenal build up. And we need to maintain our stockpile levels for when and in case that comes.
@@brahmburgers $100 billion isn't even close. Most estimates put the damage to Ukraine in the trillion dollar zone. Think about it-- indemnities to all the families whose members were killed and maimed, rebuilding the entire industrial and residential infrastructure (whole cities flattened) that was destroyed, removal of the hundreds of thousands of land mines buried throughout the country, reconstruction of all the historic architecture destroyed, relevelling the hundreds of thousands of hectares of agricultural land pockmarked with shell holes, paying the costs of all the money Ukraine has had to borrow for weapons and operation, repaying the costs to all the nations that contributed weapons, supplies, and humanitarian aid, indemnification for all the labor that went to fight the war, indemnification for lost education for young people, environmental damage repair. There's more, and there should be a punitive disciplinary penalty for any nation that so savagely violates international law and inflicts vast general pain and suffering at this scale.
Kasparov is so right! The hesitation of the western world plays Putin in the carts and he knew this would happen! Ukraine fights with there hand tight on there bag! I am so disappointed in the lack of action from NATO!
I somewhat agree, but on the other side of the coin, it takes discussion and mobilization to transport tanks and support equipment. Plus, decisions about how involved to get. We sit at our computers tapping away, but some big decisions entail gambling with the lives of thousands of young men. We don't want 'US or EU boots on the ground' ... but how close can we get - before it becomes a direct war between former USSR and western allies?
When you fight for principles, there is nothing to negotiate. End game. Mr. Kasparov was clearly struggling to contain his emotions. We should all listen very carefully to what he said.
Finally, someone says it exactly as it should be: The only way to end this war and to have peace is to ARM UKRAINE TO THE TEETH! Thank you, Mr. Kasparov. You are absolutely correct. And, thank you, MSNBC for having Mr. Kasparov on. We need to hear more from him. Slava Ukraini! From Utah, USA.
I’m American and very conservative and I can’t understand why the United states wouldn’t want to help Ukraine fight this war when we have had conflicts with Russia for A LONG time
I'm sure that you are (a) conservative: of your territory and belongings, before than politically... If you risked a nuclear war on the land where you live, your words would be more prudent. But evidently you have the good habit of exporting undue wars, and even outside of your jurisdiction (UKR is not part of the NATO if you permit, although it has been supported by NATO since 2014, for Stoltenberg's admission!). I guess that, in American schools, peace must be an untouched topic, which adds up to all the firearms displayed on the walls of American family houses, as if they were pieces of art. Did the USA help us during the II World War? YES and I say thank you, because I'm not ungrateful. But I hope that we could consider that we have finished to pay you back for that help. Unless you think that when you do someone a favor, they will have to be bound to you for good: which is not the gentleman way to behave, but the mafia code.
I predict it will largely via Russian reparation money. $100 billion? .... more? I hope they build back smarter: with alternative clean power and recycling, etc. Ukrainians will have hundreds of tons of Russian steel to recycle (ruined tanks, etc.)

Excellent post, from a Man who's opinion I Respect ❤ thanks for these memories ❤❤❤ John Barnett ❤❤
"This is the war that NATO was designed to fight in 1949."
Ya, the logic is just too obvious. Europe is saving the equipment designed for exactly this type of battle. There will never be a better chance for NATO to defeat the Russian threat WITHOUT having to endanger a single NATO life. The hesitation is mind boggling.
Putin nukes will fly all over Europe.
@@wyskass861 Yea, I don't get it either. If the US gave 10% of their yearly defence spending to Ukraine this war could be over in 6 month, and then they could lower their defence spending with trilijons of dollars, when Putins Russia don't posess a threat to anyone any more.
Yup
@@margaridacosta270 And then into Moscow. Genius move that would be.
Kasparov's simply the best, and a proven genius already.
Bring Kasparov back give him more time......
Gary is on fire!
Garry Kasparov tells it like it is!
Brilliant mind, listen to him, heed his warnings.
Kasparov is looking a few moves ahead, something he's pretty good at.
But most importantly of all, he sees the entire chessboard; with a degree of comprehension & expertise others lack!
Exactly , give them everything they need, Now !
No
Including nukes
Good to hear from GKasparov.
Thanks Garry Kasparov
It's a sad day when Americans need to be told by a former Soviet Citizen, just to stand up against Russian Imperialism...
Yes, but the USA has assisted massively thus far. More needed, for sure, but there are tough decisions involved. If Trump had been re-elected, he would have possibly pushed red buttons to launch nukes at Russia or Ukraine (depending on what side of the bed he woke up on).
Excellent point!
@@brahmburgers I agree. Totally.
But trump leads a good 20% of Americans, who're, largely, presently rooting for the fascists
Real fascists are in Ukraine. Azov Nazis. US and NATO actively funding them.
@@realnapster1522 Well, I'd never expect you, to actually admit to, being a fascist....
When you fight for principles, there’s nothing to negotiate! True. It’s victory or, failure. He’s right!
God bless you, Garry Kasparov!
Remember that this man is a master chess champion, he knows a thing or two about strategy.
Kasparov is one of my heroes. I agree with him on his overview of Putin's war and Putin's zero prospects for success there.
Much respect to Mr. Kasparov.
Agreed Ukraine should have gotten long range missiles long ago.
Kasparov is the kind of guy to lead Russia.
He's not a Russian ya fool
Buddy, he's probably worst than putin.
Lol he is western puppet. 😅 West loves leaders who have no backbone.
a smart man and a man with character
"An appeaser is someone who feeds 🐊🐊🐊crocodiles 🐊🐊🐊hoping to be the last to be eaten."
Winston Churchill
obama paternal grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, was one of 150.000 rebellious Kikuyu “blackamoors” forced into detention camps during Churchill’s postwar premiership, when the British governnment began its brutal campaign to suppress the alleged “Mau Mau” uprising in Kenya, in order to protect the privileges of the white settler population at the expense of the indigenous people. About 11,000 Kenyans were killed and 81,000 detained during the British government’s campaign to protect its imperialist heritage.
Is that why Democrats keep appeasing criminals and p3d0s?

he is from azerbaijan in the russian federation
@@TheDiamond2009 Correct, he was born in Azerbaijan in the Soviet Union. I always thought he was a Russian Grandmaster. Guess Russians can’t even boast about that.
@Ghost Logan I don’t hate Kasparov, he’s one of my favourite chess players of all time. Surly and a bad loser, but a genius over the board.
You can twist it any way you wish, but factually he is an Azerbaijani, not a Russian.
This man Gary is speaking the truth.
Great speach………👏👏👏👏👏👏
I agree with what Mr. Kasparov said about negotiations. Negotiations are to prevent conflict, but once fighting starts because those efforts failed, war only ends when one side prevails.
If that is Russia in this case, then other countries could be in graver danger of attack by them, potentially invoking NATO making us directly involved, and China may be emboldened in turn, becoming a bigger threat.
Yes, only Murica! is allowed to invade, occupy and plunder sovereign nations
I love his fury. He's right!
Kasparov is so right! The hesitation of the western world plays Putin in the carts and he knew this would happen! Ukraine fights with there hand tight on there bag! I am so disappointed in the lack of action from NATO!
Russia sending 650k troops. We are sending zero. Lets not pretend we are committed.
@@Channel--Ai A country of 45+ million ppl, Ukraine. "we" do train them and send (not enough) weapons.

For show, apparently...🙄

Now let's make sure, everybody gets THAT message.
Garry Kasparov is brilliant. Cannot agree more.

Kasparov is amazing! He's always spot on with his analyses and the points he makes.
I’m American and very conservative and I can’t understand why the United states wouldn’t want to help Ukraine fight this war when we have had conflicts with Russia for A LONG time
See what Col. Macgregor has to say about this! He îs very clear!
Yeah, also clearly it's not that hard to break russia now, when we see how fragile it is in reality.
Because 9/10 chances that will cause a third world war or nuclear war.
Strongly agreed with Mr Kasparov. Now is the moment
I pray for world peace and yearn for the day Ukraine is rebuilt to its highest glory. 🙏💕👍
I predict it will largely via Russian reparation money. $100 billion? .... more? I hope they build back smarter: with alternative clean power and recycling, etc. Ukrainians will have hundreds of tons of Russian steel to recycle (ruined tanks, etc.)
