here's my view: how many of you are saved and reborn in Christ? Now ask yourself which version did you read? if you all have different answers that just means that God meets you where you are. Whatever version you use, the Holy Spirit will teach you. I rebuke any pharisaical spirit in this chat in Jesus name.

@@donaldwortham2409Born again Christians experience salvation in three tenses. We have been saved(from the eternal penalty of sin), we are being saved daily(from the power of sin in our flesh), and we shall be saved at our death(from any and all presence of sin forever). This is what the Bible teaches. You can’t make a doctrine from one verse. You must take every scripture that deals with that topic and see the whole context and perspective.

It depends on which version of the Greek you use. The KJV was based on a handful of Greek manuscripts. The oldest was from the 10th century. Those Greek manuscripts include hundreds of additions from the Catholics, harmonies (where the scribes tried to make the gospel account align), and scribal errors. Modern translations have access to about 6,000 Greek manuscripts dating back to the year 150ad. So we now know that the KJV has many verses, phrases, and words that were not in the original. The NIV is far closer to the original documents written by the apostles and is a far better translation than the KJV.
the advice in this video is correct. Use 2-3 translations and compare them.

The Bible cant be from God:
"O daughter Babylon, you devastator! Happy shall they be who pay you back what you have done to us! Happy shall they be who take your little ones and dash them against the rock!"
    (Psalm 137:8-9 NRSV)
NRSV, where the Israelites were asking why they were being attacked by the Babylonians:
"Hear and give ear; do not be haughty, for the Lord has spoken. . . . And if you say in your heart, 'Why have these things come upon me?' it is for the greatness of your iniquity that your skirts are lifted up, and you are violated . . . because you have forgotten me and trusted in lies. I myself will lift up your skirts over your face, and your shame will be seen."
    (Jeremiah 13:15-26 NRSV)
"Skirts lifted up" is sexual assault. "Violate" is rape. The King James Version has the quaint "heels made bare," which obscures the sexual assault.
Notice that the "iniquity" for which they were being raped was not immorality or depravity; it was simply because "you have forgotten me."
There are nine passages in the Old Testament where God makes cannibalistic threats. Here is the worst one:
"And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat."
    (Leviticus 26:27-29 King James Version)
General Jephthah made a vow with God in order to defeat the enemy. When Jephthah won the war,
"And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord: 'If you give the Ammonites into my hands, whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord's, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.' . . . When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! . . . After the two months, she returned to her father, and he did to her as he had vowed."
    (Judges 11:30-39 NIV)
After burning his daughter, Jephthah was rewarded with a prestigious judgeship and was later buried with honor.
Cutting babies to pieces and raping the wives
"See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger. . . . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty. . . . Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated."
    (Isaiah 13:9-16 NIV)

Your so called holy book wasn’t even standardized till around 1924. Before then there were so many different text and errors, let’s not even get started on the hadiths.

Every time Mohammad wanted to do something Allah conveniently had a revelation that give Mohammed what he wanted, like abolishing adoption so he could steal his adopted son’s wife. He was also a pedophile who married a 6-year-old & began raping he at 9-years-old. Muhammad just made up whatever was necessary for him to get people to do what he wanted at that time, giving the world a book full
of contradictions. He even had to invent the narrative that Satan had fooled him to explain away his earlier lies & acceptance of pagan gods. He was a war lord, thief, murderer, rapist, slaver, racist, pedophile, cult leader & con man. Islam’s own Hadiths tell how Aisha pointed out how convenient it was that Allah would give a revelation every time Muhammad wanted something. It’s quite easy to see through his lies. The Quran is the religious book with multiple different versions around the world while the Bible today is the same as all the versions they’ve found throughout history & around the world, including the Dead Sea Scrolls found by Muslims in the 20th century. Your Imams lie to you about Christianity & about so much of Islam as well. You should read the Quran & Hadiths in your own language so you can see the truth. Then you should read one book from the Bible such as John, Hebrews, Proverbs, Psalms, & you will see which religious book is beautiful, sophisticated work that flows together into one story even though the books were all written down on paper by different people over thousands of years & which one is just random paragraphs that don’t even tell a story & don’t make much sense & were just slammed together into one book. If you’re so sure that Islam is true, then you’ll have no problem doing those things so you then use that knowledge to preach the true religion. My guess is you want do it because it will prove that Christianity is the truth while Islam & Muhammad are the same as Joseph Smith & Mormonism, L. Ron Hubbard & Scientology, & David Koresh & the Branch Davidians, & every other false religion made up by a con man. I’m sorry that you were unfortunate enough to be born in a false religion; I think it would be very painful. If you do actually want to spend eternity in Paradise, then you should read the Quran in your native language & ask God to show you the truth in a dream. Not doing that would show Allah that you don’t care enough to be a good servant & read the holy book.

Your women ARE A TILLAGE for you; so come unto your tillage AS YOU WISH, and forward for your souls; and fear God, and know that you shall meet Him. Give thou good tidings to the believers. S. 2:223 Arberry
The hadiths provide the reason why this passage was given:
      Narrated Jabir:
Jews used to say: "If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back, then she will deliver a squint-eyed child." So this Verse was revealed:-- "Your wives are a tilth unto you; so go to your tilth when or how you will." (2.223) (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 51)
The hadiths even tell us how Allah and his angels feel about a woman that refuses to allow her husband to enter her when and how he wants:
      Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 460)
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her until he (her husband) is pleased with her. (Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3367)
Is this how Islam treats women?

For those who think God can not perfectly preserve His word for today in the KJB or other languages that use the syrian antiochain preserved manuscripts as there foundation in perfect translation such as the English tounge. And the most eye-opening truth to those who do not believe in God's perfectly preserved word should also note:vaticanus mother rome salutes you, and welcomes you to there home. For those who think the KJB is hard to read do note: Some have learned English reading the KJB, and most notably:Their are those incarcerated in prisons today who read, and study the KJB. Eternal salvation is found in The declaration of the Gospel that saves for (today) 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Our study and our growth as Ambassadors for Christ comes in our English Holy Bible where we note the word: Study 2 Timothy 2:15 KJB
    In spanish we note:
    2 Timoteo 2:15 Estudia (study)
    Valera 1602 purificada
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every, man a liar, as it is written Romans 3:4

@ryanwiley1205 The incorrect translation says "who are being saved " You forgot the "who"it does not say "not being saved" note the difference
In this dispensation of grace the correct translation is
"which are saved" by the preaching of the gospel not with wisdom of words least the cross be of none effect
Note your tenses, and come to the knowledge of the truth in Christ
      Salvation is never a process
      Amen:)
