Dude!!! This is the best video I've found explaining things. I had the reverse issue. So when I switched the controllers forward and back it had no go. I thought about switching some wires around but didnt know which. I appreciate this guidance. Thank you
Nice video. Question the LCD programer and the OTA can be used in all line of surface ESCs from the newer ones even the older ones like one Xerun 80A I have?
You just hit all the points!!! Thanks for the info. Can you run into any problems with the Bluetooth setup? Like your kid playing with your phone while you are driving? Switching under Power?
Not really an issue. The programmer won't work while you're actively driving. You'd have to come to a stop. Connect, make changes and disconnect. Also, you should not "Drive around" with the programmer installed once you're done adjusting it.
My stock receiver is flashing red after installing max 6 combo, but I also have full steering and throttle idk the issue of their is an issue it’s my first xrt I’ve built
My xmaxx is set on punch 3 with the max 6 but it still struggles to do back flips of my ramp should i bang punch upto 5 Will that help to flip it in the air
Could you tell me where the thin washer goes when swapping out the blearings on the 1650kv HW motor pleassssssse😬 no pinion on now it sometimes sounds like I have rice paper inside

Hey so I just bought a max 5 esc and since I got it it’s been flashing red light idk what to do I have steering and the sec fan is working the controller is brand new and receiver, i tried another controller and did the same thing so I really need help and when I tried to calibrate it when I’m in neutral position and hold full throttle to switch the next position I get no beeps HELPPP
@@alexvaillancourt most likely it’s the receiver with mine I had tried to recalibrate it and everything thought it would work but nothing then I figured it out and it was the receiver I got a new one and recalibrated everything and it worked

Do you need the sensor wire for the motor still when you install new esc? Or can you use it with out the sensor wire

I have a question. Option 5 wasnt available. thats the motor thermal cut off. Is that not an option when using the stock xmaxx motor?

Yes. But go speed gearing.

how much performance or speed will this add over stock with the stock factory gearing and motor
Go speed gearing. Have fun. Watch motor temps in summer.
And What those White plates on your Xmaxx? Looks like dirt bike number plates.

If u dont calibrate and ride without would it damage the esc?
It's possible. Calibration is quick and easy, and should always be done.

I have a max 6 but it's throwing a five blink code that nobody has ever heard of do you know what the hell is going on with it???
