Mr. Mortske, good to see you just hangin' and relaxing. Love the 2500 service truck. I believe that is a Catalpa tree. You can tell it's a Catalpa tree because of the way it is.
Since you were “sitting on your ass” while floating down the river, it’s clear you were not “finishing your projects”, but having a great time. What a beautiful place to be after picking up those parts in the heat. Thanks for taking us along for the ride Mortske!!! 👍👍
For being a "grumpy" guy, you sure are good with kids. Never lose that quality. Im glad you got some R&R in ...sometimes you have to just slow down and take it in.
Tubing is the best!! We used to use old Truck and tractor tubes with the metal valve stem pokin ya in the back if you didn’t get in right. It is amazing how you know about all that bits of old car parts.
Dude, why are you so like me in the 80;s.......? I found so much good stuff back in the day. Sadly I still live in chinada. I hope you continue moving forward....
Yep, that's a Catalpa. Had two giants in my front yard in Chicago. Took me, the wife and the three kids to get our arms all the way around em. When they get big the leaves are the size of loose leaf paper
"You Spin Me..." was performed by Dead or Alive. Lead singer died several years ago. Nice vid - reminds me of tubing down the Ichetucknee River here in Fla. Good times.
Worms that are specific to the tree you asked about are great for fishing for large mouth bass down in the southern states. Glad you proved that your not just a grumpy ole man at such a young age. LOL, besides you've got plenty of time for that whenever you do get old.
Northern Catalpa tree has those beans on it and the song You spin me round is performed by Dead or Alive and Last Night is sang by Morgan Wallen and is one of my favorite songs! 😁👍
Catalpa tree, I had a few of those around when I was growing up. We use to get the worms off, go fishing. 😊 That looked like a great time on the river.
@@moremortskerepair4354 🗿💨 big mature tree in my yard. Three yrs ago worms so thick they left bare patch eastward as leaving 😂✌️ like locust eating most my grass.
Thanks Mr. M for the episode! Sorry you didn't get everything you wanted--but you seem to do good on a regular basis and you and your dad got an awesome stash!😎
I've got an idea for ya ! We had done the river in Arizona . .(Salt River ??) For tubes. I used 10:00 20's I had lashed in a rectangular laundry baskets...and we brought our two Golden Retrivers ! They sat or laid down paws up on the sides, enjoying the whole run. Truck tubes are best...Imo..as their nails don't puncture kid type tubes. Next time bring da Duffmeister !
Those are catalpa trees. I have several on my property. Bats love them and they are real pretty when they bloom. Seed pods are a pain to clean up and they are heavy and take damage easy in high wind. Also it's Dead or Alive who sang "You Spin Me Round"
nice score on the pieces and the service truck. Sure enjoyed Kneebraska when I lived in Old Alliance which is bare and rolling sand hills. Awesome vehicles tucked away in fence roles
I really liked this video. Good looking spot/ I can understand what rings true about it for you. Glad to see you got some r&r time in. Makes the trip all worth it.
Had to give up on your Okie car guy. Don't go to UTubers for constant hawking of their merchandise. And I am old enough not to spend time watching mistakes. Glad you had fun Mortski at the sale. Haven't seen a good old guy auction in east Texas since I have been back for 3 years. What a grand time you had floating with the young lady. Memories being made for your old age.
You didn't do to bad that service truck is Really Neat 😁 That was a beautiful peaceful area it would have been hard for me to leave also, Thank you Mortske.
Enjoyed your Hidden Paradise clip. I grew up an hour south of there but moved away 50 years ago. Should have built a cabin back then and stayed there. Glad to see its still in operation and doing well. Might have to go back and float that creek..
Awesome floating the river ,here in Texas we go to Glenrose near Dinosaur vally and float the Brazos river . I'm Casper white and sunburn to the bone even with sunscreen but it always a great time !!
Clearly the auction wasn’t your destiny on that trip. Love that river cabin. Cool to see you having fun man. Tidbit: Top tourist activity here on the island is tubing down old sugar cane irrigation ditches for 3 or 4 hours. Makes even the grumpy grin and giggle.😉
Nice to see someone relax for a change! Life is not all about work! It's a good example for other motor vehicle channel's to follow! I personally would like see more than just working on vehicles all the time! Y'all in the RUclips world can show us more of your life this way and would probably get alot more subscribers!
"You spin me right 'round" was by Dead or Alive and the tree is a Catalpa. My grandfather called it a Johnny Smoker. I guess the pods looked like cigars to him. Thanks for another interesting show.

Dead or Alive was the band that sang You spin me round. Vintage 1985 synth-pop.
I enjoy watching your stuff. Real life works.
Glad to hear it

Beat part was seeing "grumpy" Mortskie having some fun on the creek. Good to see you aren't always a grumpy old man.😁😁😁

The tree is a Northern Catalpa. They do produce seeds that looks like green bean pods.
They pronounce the first town with the loves Skyler
You can tell what kind of that that is by the way it is !!

Dead or alive sing that song Mortske, Pete Burns was the lead singer (now passed), great tune in the late 80's!!! Loved the episode!
That cabin and river look like alot of fun.
My distant relatives helped found the town of longpine. The creek and the pines are extremely beautiful.
Thanks for sharing!
Uncle Mortske having a blast!
Dead or alive is the group Mortske 👍

Puddin would hate hidden Paradise all those birds chirping.

Glad you enjoyed it
I love my stickers I got them on my toolbox and my sons box. Thank you, Morkski
Glad you like them!
Great video. I love how you interact with the kids. It shows a lot of character and the kids loved it. The floating is a good way to recharge also.
That looks like an AWESOME rest place .. who WOULDN'T want a place there ... probably a price to match to !!
This video was all over the place and I love it! Thanks for the ride down the river, what a cool area.
Nice to see you floating down the river relaxing!! Looks like a really nice place. Thanks for the video.
Part of an auctioneers job is to make the most money possible for their client! If that means a preview and whatever, that’s what you do!
Exactly
Unless they're lazy, then it's just a clearance sale.
Cool video glad you took some time to relax and have some fun.
And thanks for take us down the river.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the video Mortske.

Great minds think alike! Feet in the creek with a beer! 😉

You got to see some of the best parts of our state. The Sandhills is my favorite spot in the world that I’ve been to
Looking forwards to seeing future content on this channel as well as the main one :)
Maybe not a very productive trip, but that river float with the gang looked just awesome!!!!
Oh man! For a second, I thought it was Brill's legs in the closing scene of Enemy of the State - "You're gonna need a tan on those things!"
Floating down the river on a big brown log...😎😂😂😂😂
Great video! The river looked fun!
Glad you got to have a little vacation in the middle at least, everyone needs some R&R every once and a while.
Tubin is always Relaxing! Thanks for the entertainment man!

Long Pine is a neat place and that river is inviting I could float that all day and drink myself into a stupor.😎
Rambling stream of consciousness-so good. “I don’t know if I’m allowed to park this close to a school”
"You spin me right 'round" was by Dead or Alive and the tree is a Catalpa. My grandfather called it a Johnny Smoker. I guess the pods looked like cigars to him.

Great vid Mort!
Keep saving those trucks. Great job. Keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
You and your dad got some neat inventory and you had a big time. Duff would be upset if he could know such things.
Hidden paradise indeed!
