@@moremortskerepair4354 I find myself rewatching your videos to see what I missed the first time 🙂 my only advice would be don’t burn your self out and remember “Rudeness is a weak man’s imitation of strength” when these negative comments come at you 👍
Hey , Saturday morning gold with Puddin and Mort. Well sir your very nice guy, giving Puddin that skidstree .Thanks for taking us along, Have a good weekend.
I’ve just gotta figure a way to entice you to Ohio! Wifey wants that ‘62 bread truck but I ain’t got a truck and trailer to come get it! The truck is from the year she was born and she wants me to turn it into an RV! She says: “Name your price” I said: “I can’t afford him!” But I really gotta say, I don’t care what all them other RUclips creators say about you. I think You are a good friend and a great guy!
Just wanted to tell you (and I hope we're not the only ones) that we very much enjoy your road trips and accompanying babble 😉👌👌very interesting and kind of soothing And great job Chin! The ending was hilarious!
I just bought a 1968 VW bug/ I've had a 1955 Oval rear window / roof , going to put the oval window in the 69, I also bought a Right hand drive setup from Australia to make it right hand drive. Really good video !
Very cool Mortske... That's a great machine. Hopefully he doesn't lower it and put white walls on it. True good friends are hard to find. If you have the means to do it, and you want to do nice gestures, do it while you are still young and healthy because life can change very quickly... I'm 63 years old and I've always had a lot of friends. A handful that I have had since elementary school. As I've gotten older, some of those friends have moved, passed away or developed health issues and they are no longer the same person that they were. Of course we can make new friends but it's not the same as when you have 50 years of history and memories with a person...
True Friendship is hard to find , Puddin and You are a match made in Oklahoma and the two of you have me laughing out of control !! Thank you for thee tour of America , seeing things I never knew existed . The Saturday show was like Mortske Monday come early, A true credit to your ingenuity and video making ability , I don't know how you can top this in two days , Stuart inn Canada ..
Slick is absolutely right about the 52' - 53' Zwitter split oval rear window. That's the rarest Bug there is. There is a huge global market with a fanatical fan base for the years 47'-53'. "The German word “zwitter” means hermaphrodite/hybrid, referencing the part oval and part split window on the rear of the vehicle."
25,000 hours on a 743,743B,753, S130 doing concrete work. 6 breakdowns. 2 ruptured main hydraulic hoses, 2 alternators, 1 starter and 1 (bad from the factory) shuttle valve. There is no more versatile machine than a Bobcat skidsteer. You are a good friend.
I always dreamed of living outside the city with a nice sized shop. Still dreaming in my mid-40s. It ain't happening. Guess I'll just watch guys like you and Puddin.
Hwy 77 is a good route. You can take it north out OF OK TO Marysville KS west on 36 to hwy 75 N. The Kikkapoo Truck Plaza had to shut down after covid. They couldn't recover after that.
Those grain trucks are everywhere up here in Vermont . Whether it's corn or grain. same with hay and manure trucks. You get used to it after a while . Growing up on a farm is fun.
Be thankful you don't have to share the highways with cotton module trucks. I reside in the TX Rolling Plains area, and the cotton harvesting will commence in the next few weeks in this area. Those truck drivers operate those trucks like autistic ferrets on meth trying to outrun a tornado.
Funny thing is, I just bought a second gen For Taurus wagon for 300 Dollars that runs drives and brand new tires. Drove it home and have only put about $130 into a few odds and ends.
Ain't it great to have good mate's 😊 ,it's great how yous can help each other, the bob cat should be handy, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
It sure gets quiet when you take the chains off the skid steer. Puddin don't know about chains. He does that ratchet strap all the time. Takes upper body strength to get those binders loose. Cool road trip. Can't wait till Puddin comes up to ND during winter.
Slick's new project car brings back memories. Growing up, our back fence neighbors had a split window Bug. It rusted in peace there for maybe 20 years until it mysteriously disappeared.
I loved the comment "He's so excited about his new skid steer that he's not even here to unload it", followed by 6 minutes of the sounds of Mortske unhooking chains and breathing hard. Content!!
Mortske you and Puddin are a riot together. Really enjoy your road trips between his place and yours. (Also like all of your other trips to rescue vehicles and the knowledge you have about the towns and farmlands.). You actually are a gentleman. Kind regards. This video is a refreshing escape from the wars in the Middle East and the awful battle for our wonderful USA and crappy lies many of our politicians spew. God bless you Mortske and Puddin and your families, crew and wonderful dogs. Blaine Halley Santa Cruz, CA 😎
I can’t believe the dealer wasn’t interested. That’s a pre-Doosan, pre-emissions machine. In my area people would have paid almost brand new price for it. Thats truly an amazing machine.
You are a awesome friend. BC skid steer s are top of the line. I have a case, case of junk that is. Thanks for the free ride to OK. And we have alot of water towers in Maryland
Paid my way through college working in a brick yard. Simple process but requires expensive equipment and a couple key ingredients. Find a hole in the ground with the right kind of clay, truck it to a mill that grinds the clay to a fine consistency, mix with water, convey to a press which forms the green bricks, place in a kiln and fire at a high temperature for a long time...then Bob's Your Uncle. Need the right clay and cheap energy, that's why many brickyards were originally in Pennsylvania near the coal mines....no coal or right clay probably not making bricks there 100 years ago.
Bet Puddin is happy having that new toy around! That International is a slick looking rig, could have fit behind your roadster really nice! Hey thanks for the ride and great content!
Getting pulled over tip: scream at the cop through the closed window that you are "a traveller" and when he starts bashing it with his baton, ask if you're "being detained", keep the camera rolling as you become a statistic. Great content.
Hey Mortske I always like it when you have Puddin in your videos. 7 miles a gallon wow those long trips are costly. I'm glad Puddin got the Bobcat because he sure needed it, the old Towrola is about wore out. Everybody needs their own Mortske around lol! Great video man, can't wait for the next one. 👍
So, I learn something new every day, especially from watching Mortske. I’ll admit I didn’t know what an English Wheel was, but now I do. Guess I’ll have to buy one now from Harbor Freight!
Yes Mortske you are a good friend to puddin hi is so proud that he has a forklift that's how friendship should be he gives you something you give something back it's real friendship it.. Nice work man keep up the good work
