Glad I could be the one that brought some nostalgia to you guys, as this was the first car of many folks during college or high school times. It has quite the sentimental value and still to this day a pretty fun piece of machinery and a 90's icon. It was my first car (along with an old 911 and a V6 of this same gen and year) and i'm happy to still own it, lots of fond memories. More videos are coming soon as I reckon there aren't many 94-98 Mustang videos that actually show some raw driving experience, let alone in POV.
Stay safe everyone.
I miss my 1994 GT, this reminded me of the good old days!
I love this gen, they're so underrated. Big aftermarket and amazing potential for mods. Reliable and fun to drive, great bang for your buck. Can't go wrong with the V8 + manual transmission combo.
I think we all congregated here to reminisce on an old car we had. I know I miss my 95... baby chirped all the way to 3rd 😭 not even 250 hp but damn, alot of sentimental value.
Glad I could be the one that brought it up to you guys.
I have 18 inch rims running a 315/30/18 on a 10.5 inch wide wheel & she spins up until 3rd , I definitely need to downsize tho the wheel hop without quad shocks sucks😅
Man, I just love that old 5.0 L sound. I used to own a 1988 Mustang LX 5.0 SSP notchback which was decommissioned state trooper car. I really miss it. That sure is a beautiful one you have. I love black Mustangs. Mine was black as well. Seeing this kind-of makes me want to look for a nice fox body or SN95 myself.
Sup man! The SN95 (94-98) is kinda like the "996" of the Mustangs, they still don't get the love they deserve. They're such fun cars to drive and are also pretty reliable, very confortable cruisers too. My first car was an automatic 1995 V6 (despite being a V6/auto it was still fun to drive) and then I got this one from the second owner a while ago, has only 46k miles but a faulty heater core, LOL.
I would love to see that decommissioned state trooper fox body, must have been so cool. I've never driven a fox body myself but I definitely think about getting one someday.
brian5o I miss my 88 too. I have the opportunity to buy a 95 gts with an f303 and I’m probably going to buy it.
@@Gkitchens1 You did it? :D
@@quackgarage9551 Dude flaked on Me
@@quackgarage9551 Please sell me this car! My brother had the exact car. So many good memories begging him to come pick me up from school. 11 years difference between our ages. I've been looking for one exactly like his for years. 1995 black 5 speed gt with 5 star rims. Please let me know if your interested to sell
Moves great...I just got my first mustang recently 98 gt...fun undervalued cars at the moment..especially sn95...thx for posting...
Cool! They're awesome cars, would love to see some videos ;)
How's the mustang doing now??
This was my first car, this video brought me back 😊
mine too---same wheels even!
My dad had a 95 mustang gt and the sound of yours is so nostalgic for me because I loved that car but he unfortunately sold it but he's trying to buy another one
So cool, hope he gets another one! I love this gen for a similar reason, they're also pretty nostalgic for me and they're slowly getting the love they deserve.
@@quackgarage9551 yeah there easily my favorite body style of mustang mainly just because I grew up with one but I just love the way they look
I drive a 1994 F-150 with the same engine I believe (it's stock of course but it accelerates a bit faster than the original 5.0 it had) the original 5.0 it had seized up and It had a 5.0 from a similar mustang swapped into it. Old solid engine, it still runs like new.
Can't go wrong with these 302's, one of my favorite engines of all time. Nice truck btw ;)
B cams sound so good. Unfortunatly, its proven that they can actually reduce your numbers. E and F cams are fine or any other brand. The B cams were made for a specific type of vehicle that runs high RPMs all the time.
nice vid, love that old pushroad engine sound 😃
A man of taste!
Nice to see one of these in Europe, if I ever move overseas i'm taking my Mustang with me ;)
Thanks man !
Pony always with us 😉
This body style mustang is the coolest hands down
this is my car exactly........bought new in 1995 when I was 25........we still have it...............needs some work but not much
How much you want for it
@@cassidycoleman5453 not for sale ever
sick video love the gt 5.0
quick question is it safe to shift when u were slipping after the burnout?
or is it better to get a grip w ur tires then shift to the next gear
just asking !
Thanks! As a general rule it shouldn't be a problem with cars under 400 hp or so in a good pavement under good conditions, just know what you're doing and don't abuse the car.
But really, it is always better to get a grip first.
My first car was a black '94 GT. I miss it so much.
Awesome! My first car was a 95 V6, got it from the first owner in absolutely mint condition, still miss it.
nice, mine was a purple 96gt
Nice video 👍🏼
I got the x303 cam and speedster aluminum heads with long tube headers and flowmaster outlaws mufflers with side exits. And 3.73s too..mfkrs fast as hell.
Few days ago bought some 5.0 gt cab with automatic gearbox, now i want manual
Still an awesome car, congrats! My first one was an automatic and I had as much fun driving the automatic as I have now in the manual, if not more.
QuackGarage don’t lie to hom manuals are way better
@@TGLzz I had an automatic for eight years and the transmission gave me zero problems, it was even more fun than the manual sometimes. Manuals are great and for me they're always the choice to go, but they can be a pain in the ass when it comes to certain ordinary driving scenarios depending where you live and how are the roads/traffic there, you can be more annoyed than anything else and all the fun experience of driving a manual goes downhill. I loved the automatic as a cruiser and during mild to heavy traffic.
A nice Cam, heads, and some pipes will open her up a little more. My build is pretty complete and already running it. I need a few things suspension wise, but she’s track ready. I have a few videos up,,, they’re a little over a year old and I’ll be posting more hopefully this weekend with a track camera.
Cool! I'll definitely watch them ;)
I'll post new videos too when I get a new distributor, the car still had the stock one and it finally gave out. For now, I can barely drive it for too long, when it warms up the RPM goes crazy, huge loss of power and it starts to backfire and there's also bucking. I'm not 100% sure but I think the heads are not stock, will look into it anytime, thanks!
AWESOME 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Its the 1994 cobra. The cobras came with 24lb injectors and I believe the gts came with 19s. 24s give you more wiggle room for mods.
i have a v6 98 manual stock and is fast, but that is amazing
NICE, my first car was a 95 V6 and I still miss it.
It’s like watching you drive my car but yours sounds better :(
(I drive a 1996 V6 manual)
Nice! My first car was also a V6, but 1995 and automatic. Loved it too, great cruiser and even though it was a V6 and automatic, still pretty fun to drive.
About how much money are all the performance parts together and how much do you think it’s making to the wheels
Don't remember exactly but it's not that expensive, I guess $700-800ish back in the day, including the EGR delete. It's definitely worth it. The HP gains are around the ~40 mark and the car feels much better, 1st to 2nd gear is A LOT of fun, mid range torque is also impressive and the tires spin easily, even with light throttle sometimes. And even though my exhaust is stock, the sound changed considerably. Hope this helps, cheers!
i LOVE it 🥰
Nice video!!!
Saludos! Glad you liked it ;)
Eagle Talon tsi's smoke these things. Used to all the time back in high school 20-22 years ago.
Kinda cringe and boomery
@@quackgarage9551 You think facts are cringe? Cleary you need to awake yourself to life little kiddo. Or maybe i need to pound the facts into you perhaps? Literally?
who cares? mustangs are legend bro....whatever you said,,,?, no one even cares about
@@WheresWaldo05 No one cares about that idiotic comparison. It's pointless. You're cringe.
90s Mustangs are the best Mustangs lol
I love how quintessential 90's they are, fun cars and also super comfortable/reliable :D
Assistindo é dando like blz já estou escrito no seu canal thanks
Nicest sound
Thanks! Definitely not a bad sound for a stock exhaust if you ask me 😀
muito bom nota 1.45
Did u do dyno tuning?
Not yet 😬
What’s with having both hands on the wheel? And why are you letting off the gas between gears? 😂
From the planet i'm from that's called driving, do you even know how to properly drive a car with a manual transmission or how it works? If that was unironically, you're a total clueless dimwit.
How many miles does it have?
44k currently
i want more videos ieeeeeeeeeeeeea
Is the seating position very low?
It is! I'm actually kinda annoyed by that 😬
@@quackgarage9551 That's unfortunate. I really don't like that as well. Been test riding very low seat cars before (Mazda Miata, Mercedes C43 AMG) and didn't like it.
Any idea how the newer Mustangs compare in that department? (2005 and 2015 models)
@@muaythai193 I had a fifth gen and the seating position was slighly higher, pretty good :D
@@quackgarage9551 Thanks for that info!
Hi, my 95 Gt has a third gear whine, almost sounds like a straight cut gear. Do you experience that ?
Not normal, might wanna check that. I do experience that but only in 1st gear sometimes, which is somewhat normal.
what heads u have
GT40 heads 😬
stock explorer heads ?
@@strickracing437 Correct!
@@quackgarage9551 what power did it put down
@@strickracing437 Around the 25-30 hp mark, pretty good.
OMG that engine is *dirty*
No shit, that's what you get living in place full of basalt.
Just keep one hand on the shifter, you seem all scared like the car is slow idk why your scared you can tell it's stock 😂
It's definitely not stock. I've driven quite a few stock SN95's and the "holy shit" moment when you press full throttle in first gear doesn't even get close to this particular car, camera doesn't do justice.
@@quackgarage9551 my 96 with a 4.6 with mods was way faster spinning all the way through 2nd gear
@@heavyhitta6905 I could "spin" more if I wanted to, even through 2nd gear. But there's no point. I'm not someone with a 16yo mentality and these cars over here are as rare and expensive as a F355 is in the US.
@@heavyhitta6905 Cringey grammar and idiotic passive-aggressiveness, you're a complete dimwit. It's no surprise that you couldn't perceive the obvious about the car. Also, the 4.6 sucks beyond belief.
If you have a rear-wheel drive car with a manual transmission, it's best to not leave your hand on the shifter because you can damage the shift fork in the transmission.
I have the same car. Many issues at 3000 tr/min.Are you in Spain ?
I'm currently living in Brazil but I go to Portugal pretty often, what kind of issues do you have? These cars are notorious for MAF and TPS (throttle position sensor) issues, which can cause power loss even at high RPM's and it feels like a rather slow car, that can be the case. It happens to almost everyone when you reach a certain mileage. Apart from that, do you have any other issues? It's also common to have problems in the heater core and AC clutch, I currently have both LOL, they're an easy fix but the heater core is super annoying to reach. For now, I can drive normally but can't turn on the AC.
That's all I guess, other than this, they're very sturdy and reliable cars, rarely will give you headaches. Hope it's an easy fix and you can enjoy your car ;)
