I would include in this title, “so far”. If you’ve read the books, you know that we’re just getting started. 😹We haven’t seen all the dragons, yet. Also, fun fact: when Vhagar helped take over Westeros, she was the smallest of the three.
Vhagar would be impossible without another dragon, and even a tiny one like vermax would f*ck up a whole group of people before going down

Caraxes is terrifying. That warbled scream and absurdly long neck make him distinctly different.
In the books it say he was born deformed, with a long neck and leg wings. I personally love his scream too, its cause his necks so long lol.

Caraxes is the most awkward looking dragon, but his design just sets him apart. Plus his screech suggest he has a deviated septum lol

Rhaegal was such a great dragon. Such a shame that Dany kinda forgot about the iron fleet and Euron’s forces.

Vhaghar must be one of the coolest dragons I ever saw on screen. She's just different. So old and wrecked looking and so thick and clunky, but yet looking like stuff from nightmares.
I love the running gag that Vhagar is now senile and thinks that Aemond is Visenya and they are conquering Westeros together. Makes House of the Dragon sooo much more amusing
I want flashback scenes with Aegon the Conquerer and Balerion the Black Dread. I know lots of people want Henry Cavill to play Aegon the Conquerer. Imagine Henry Cavill flying on top of the largest dragon of them all, burning their way through one battlefield after another. That would've been glorious
By the time house of Dragon completes. Henry Cavill will be too old to fit as Aegon.

Nah aegon wasn't a great fighter or built like a tank! He was simply lucky that he got the baddest dragon of them all! Cavill should play cregan stark or hugh the hammer and let someone like charlie hunnam Or tom hiddleston play aegon
Forget flashbacks they should just make a series dedicated to Aegon's conquest and to balerion the black dread

In HOTD, my overall stunners are Caraxes “the Blood Wyrm” and Meleys “the Red Queen”. Vhagar will always be an awesome legendary dragon though, alongside Meraxes and Balerion.
Except balerion is not in the series unless through flashbacks

Caraxes has the best wing design in whole series. Those small wings connected to his legs makes it look so cool.

@@emmisouliere5456 I'm assuming Drogon is going to be an absolute menace in the Jon Snow sequel series. Kind of hard to judge either way because the Cannibal is still an unknown. He could've been the one that injured the Black Dread.

I just want a series or just a flash back in HotD featuring balerion, so we can finally get a canon size,
As far as the books go, As of the Dance of the Dragons, Vhagar was said to be only slightly smaller than Balerion was during the Conquest. So Vhagar's size in HoTD is a pretty good measuring stick. Of course Balerion was only about 100 at the time of the conquest and Vhagar's already pushing 200. So Balerion was most likely even more massive by the time he died.

Vermithor and Drogon are my favorite with Meleys and caraxes a close second. Didn't like Vhagar's design much.
@@arslanakhter3034 she’s quite old by now 🥲, tbh I loved her design, especially her head, her mouth (teeth) and roar are outstanding imo, especially the sounds she made when Laena wanted to get burned alive, and when there was that one shot with Aemond in front of Vhagar’s eyes

Caraxes all day. He's a psycho, just like Daemon.
Meleys had two riders. Alyssa Targaryen and Rhaenys Targaryen/ The queen who never was. Two is not considered several. That and Viserion was the most docile out Daenerys' dragons. He wasn't unruly or disobedient. Rhaegal and Drogon were the handful.
I don't think these guys read the books very much or really watched the show.
he was also the smallest of the 3 lol, how does he go above rhaegal or even the likes of meleys or a dragon like caraxes.
@@sanjaysanj5603 I don't think these guys have even as much as skimmed through the books. I don't think they watch the shows either, or even use Google. Every video they post is inaccurate. It's kind of annoying because these channels make allot of money while us real nerds are making pences.
@@sanjaysanj5603 I think because they take into account the period of time in which he was under the Night King’s control, he literally was an undead Dragon and destroyed part of The Wall

Syrax has't done anything much so far on the show and Seasmoke hasn't even appear on the show yet. This is why probably they are both out.
I'm more surprized with Drogon being rated higher than Balerion and Vhagar.

I'd say Vhagar is the most fearsome; the last of the 3 dragons from Aegon Targaryens' conquering campaign. I think Caraxes is the best match out of the others in HOTD.
I’d say it’s a tie between vhagar and caraxes since they killed each other in fire & blood
But balerion is the biggest one so he's more fearsome.

@@jakealter5504 they did but technically caraxes won that battle and he was what half the size of vhagar or less, caraxes was also noted to be the most ferocious and battle hungry of the dragons, a trait shared with his rider.
For me personally...
1. Drogon (literally watched him grow and is super smart and momma's boy)
2. Meleys (my red queen of course)
3. Seasmoke (is a gorgeous beast)
4. Caraxes (a down right badass like his rider)
5. Vhagar (have respect for your elders)
The red queen and the blood wyrm are my favourites along with Vhagar.
This was an amazing video. It was nice to see these mighty beasts get the respect they deserve as well as the legacy they created. I had an idea how this list would go, but I'm happy that Drogon got #1. I knew it would come done between him and Balerion in the top two, so I'm happy these two titans came out victorious. It very fitting that the Winged Shadow is viewed as Balerion The Black Dread reborn...and he definitely deserves the title. Drogon was definitely the epidemy of a dragon from Game of Thrones, so the new comers from House of the Dragon will have big shows to fill. Plus I find it ironic that this list started with one of Daenerys's dragons and ended with one as well.
i mean there were dragons listed lower than him from hotd that are larger and more powerful and more battle experienced so idk how they compiled this list lmfao, viserion above rhaegal is stupid as viserion was the smallest of dany's 3 and putting him above meleys and caraxes etc is honestly quite stupid. caraxes has the most unique and iconic design in the GoT universe, is larger, has greater feats and is over all more powerful than any of dany's dragons, and yes caraxes is much larger than drogon in the show, plus dan and dave made drogon bigger than he really was from the books as a wow factor for the show and even then he is still smaller, caraxes/meleys would probably kill him if they fought lmfao.

One of my favorite dragons from the dance gotta be Sunfyre, There was no dragon that survived as many dragon battles as he did.He also had the highest dragon kill record along side vhagar

As far as which dragon I'd be terrified to go up against it'd be between The Cannibal, Balerion and Vhagar

Sheepstealer is mentioned but not Seasmoke? Seasmoke is a beautiful grey dragon that is stealthy in clouds due to his coloring. Also, he is one of the few dragons in HoTD that's been in a real war like Caraxes. Dreamfyre should be on the list too and Vermithor. Dany's dragons are believed to be Dreamfyre's children.
If we ever see drogon again, I bet he's the biggest dragon ever

They all are young and their feets are pretty big.
Sunfyre have the most dragon kill.
Seasmoke fights in stepstones and many fights in dance including that legendary three way dance at tumbleton against vermithor.
Tessarion fights at honeywine and survive battle against vermithor.
Compare this to children of syrax.
Like arrax fell first.
Then vermax at gullet.
Then tyraxes without any battles.
Absolutely love the dragons on GOT and HOD. I could watxh these clips all day! Drogon is my fav though he was beautiful.. ❤

The Vermithor
For me the first one is Caraxes, he reflects everything of his master, one of the most original dragons I've seen so far... with his long neck... that way of flying... and he is scary... I'm sure he is very powerful. To be seen in the future on other fights. I'm not forgetting Drogon... but you should know that he's the smallest dragon of all apparently (I saw a diagram that said so) if this one isn't mistaken. So 1 Caraxes 2. Balerion 3. Drogon

Yeah, he is way too young. wait till he grows up. Caraxes was 65 years old on screen while Drogon was only 6 years old at end. And still, Caraxes is 9th by size. Balerion is the biggest that has lived. But he was over 200 years old.
I love the Cannibal. I really hope they put him in house of dragon.
The main reason why i loved these shows so much was because of the Dragons. The other but still very important reason was the Night King and his white walkers. So basically i watched it for the magic of it, but enjoyed the sassy, and political family drama of it all.
Caraxes is badass n very different from other dragons🐉..daemon and caraxes are two bodies one soul..🔥🔥😍 💯
I was excited already by the title itself.
#8 was so awesome coming up from underground ridden by The Queen Who Never Was. Vhagar was a force to be reckoned with especially in the last scene of season 1. Drogon was the perfect choice for #1. The way he emotionally destroyed The iron throne and gently picking up Dany’s lifeless body was the only effective part of that god awful finale. Great list🐉🐉

So how exactly did those undead zombies manage to get friggin chains attached to a friggin dragon beneath the friggin ice on the bottom of the friggin ocean-whst it seems like one anyway- and then manage to pull the friggin big ass lifeless body up to the friggin top let alone out and available to the friggin night king to friggin turn...?

Yeah Their bond is very strong Sunfyre is by far the most loyal dragon,Having his wing being damaged and crippling didn’t stop him from flying back to his master and still fighting and killing 2 bigger dragons later on

for all his ferocity; Caraxes is a big scaly puppy with Daemon and I love it. He's by far my favorite.
Drogon is basically a baby...no way he's ahead of Balerion, vhagar, the cannibal, or Vermathor, which wasn't mentioned....read a book.

I feel as a character.. caraxes is the most developed.. from his appearance, his nature to the errie sound he makes before you even see him... The writers worked on him a lot more than any of the others i feel

I have watched HOTD till 4th episode but i haven't got the same vibes like drogon in GOT, he is furious, aggressive and just looks far more glorious compared to some dragons in HOTD.

Vhagar is the most fearsome and menacing dragon I've ever seen besides Ceraxes.
Drogon could grow into the largest dragon since he can roam free. Imagine some Valeryian ancestor finally finding and binding Drogon to his will.

Cannibal, Sheepstealer, Sunfyre, and Balerion shouldn't have even been on the list since we haven't even seen them yet in the shows. You should've put Arrax, Syrax, Vermithor, Vermax, or Seasmoke since we actually got a good look at them.
We saw Sunfyre briefly a couple times. Sunfyre was the bottom right dragon in the ome shot that made it in this video

pretty easy when the other side has no dragons to oppose you right? caraxes defeated the largest targaryen dragon at that time which was much larger than drogon, saw more war than drogon, had a possibly stronger bond with his rider, has a more unique design and would more than likely kill drogon and dany if they ever fought each other i dont see how he is the mvp and then you add in balerion who has much more feats under his belt.

I always though Rhaegal was named after after her son Rhaego, and that’s why he was so fiercely protective of his mother.
I also assumed Rhaego was a play on the name Rhaegar, so my interpretation of the name was something like this
Rhaegar > Rhaego > Rhaegal
