I can hear that there is a repeating theme. My Schumann book (Schirmer edition) calls the piece a Roundelay, which is a simple song with a refrain; or, a poem with a refrain recurring frequently or at fixed intervals as in a rondel. In German the title is Rundgesang, which means "round" in English. This piece is not only circular/round in that it repeats, but to me it speaks of the beauty of the countryside. Yes, there is a main theme that is always present. On the other side, Ricordi Edition has A Round as a title.
