Its not really about the cars, well kinda. Its about capturing the style, sounds, and feel of the period. Having been a kid in the late 70s-80s, I watch these videos to relive that time and topher does it brilliantly! ET was my first movie and it scared the hell out of me. It was such a stange but amazing time. Rad music, boxy cars, incredible movies, optimism... ya had to be there. But the cars are a focal point of the era- we did pay close attention to them and were heavily influcend by their designs. God I miss the 80s!
Love those Ford Fox-Body cars! They were everywhere in the 1980's and 90's. They were compact but roomy with great visibility. All models were attractive and most pleasing to the eye. Miss the Fairmont/Zephyr and Granada/Cougar most of all.

I was diving with car load of fellas we pull at lights, Ford Falcon AU Fairmont pull up side of us with car full of girls, same engine but 4 speed automatic i believe. Drag them, old girl gave AU run for it's money, yes XE bet AU 0 to 60 it shock fellas LOL. Goodtimes.
The Ford Fairmont Futura has been a favorite of mine. I've always loved your videos but the song was abit much to play the whole time but other then that thanks for showing this video

My uncle had a 2 door fairmont futura had a cousin that had a 79 capri my uncle replaced the fairmont with a blue 85 T bird
