    Thank you - superb upload - very few interviews with world class players are this honest and forthcoming , very interesting. Impossible to forget the achievements of the father and son. Often saw and really enjoyed watching Ramesh play. Unique feel and giftedness with the ball - this story is beyond special.

      @@astrafalustre8259 Ramathan Krishnan was arguably the greatest Indian tennis player ever. No Indian has ever won as many singles titles (55 titles) or achieved as high world ranking (No.6) as him.

    GREATESTS LEGENDS OOF INDIAN TENNIS AND ERY PROUD DAVIS CUP PLAYERS FOR INDIA

  • @srikanthan1000
    @srikanthan1000 4 месяца назад

    The great thing about both these players was that they relied on pure skill and technique to compensate for lack of power and strength which is normally a requirement at the highest level. At a time when tennis training and competitions were practically non existent in India ( TN was slightly better in that regard but defo not at the level of producing international players ) these two managed to give some of the best in the world a scare and occasionally even won against them . Their Wimbledon record is still the best of any Indian.

    With due respect to the father-son duo for their incredible achievements, I wonder how they didn't maintain their physique poat retirement, given that tennis is such a demanding sport in terms of fitness levels and they were in top form during their prime in 20s and early 30s.
