This is where I’m going to retire! God has blessed me with a wildly successful career here in the US and I want to contribute in building ERI AND Bahardar Even though I’m Eritrean Bahirdar is where my heart is.
When I went to Ethiopia 11 years ago, I've visited Bahrdar and stayed at Kuriftu hotel and Awassa at Haile Gebreslass hotel, it was beautiful and breath-taking experience especially Bahrdar with Tana but when I came back to Ethiopia last year couldn't visited either one of them due to the peace distraction which was very disappointed, most of the times couldn't leave Addis Abeba except visited Adama. Pls keep your cities peacefull for visitors, we really want to visit Bahrdar in our next visit. All my family and friends are planning to visit Ethiopia next year if Gorgera and Winche open if there's no distraction, also Arba- Minch is which really want to visit on my next trip. Ethiopia prevail and peace for the whole world 🌎
What a beautiful city! I went there for vacation with my wife just for 2 days and can you believe it we spent 7 days there. The most impressive thing was hotels. They are very clean and standard. Very clean. Food, people, nature, shopping centers (Merkato off course) I love everything about Bahirdar. I wish I could visit again

Beautiful city! Yes, all Amara people have to focus on developing more green land, city plan, education and technology. Not only on Politics! Most Amara people are educated so use the knowledge to change every Amara Cities and the rest society! TPLFs don’t want to see every Amara to grow b/c that was their target for their last 50 years! So the regions individuals have to work or have responsibilities to create a secure/safety system for the next Ethiopian generations. We Ethiopians we have a beautiful country if we all focus on unity and work together for a better changes.🙏💚💛❤️

What a beautiful city. I feel sad that they are using Zenbaba to clear the roads. Where i live in the UK the local council or Kebele has street cleaners and they use very powerful big brushes , metregya. They also have small cars which they drive on the side f the road that clears up the street. I wish i can take 500 of those metregya to donate to this city. I hope some day i can help them. i hope they can modernize the cleaning system with modern clearing cars like they do in the west. In the mean time i wish they start thinking and investing new tools that can help them in their clearing work.

Beautiful city. Should have been the capital of Ethiopia. Keep it green, walkable, & livable city. Move farms away from the lake coastline.
