Lovely engine/gearbox combo for that small car. No 3 cylinder rumble, first five gears are nicely spaced for everyday driving and a very long sixth gear on top for relaxed cruising. and it even has enough torque to get the car up the hills in that long final gear without breaking a sweat. the 1.0 ecoboost fiesta feels much more unnaturally boosted in a small rev range without power below or above and dies off at higher speeds more quickly.
Still a great 4 cylinders in this category, i'm bored that makers offers too many 3 cylinders engines now.

I wish i could update my car with this digital instrument panel… i have the 7inch one but it looks so outdated compared to this one… beautifull car i have the 1.3 with automatic gear its 130hp i wonder if this is alot faster

I don't understand that you'r recording a top speed video but still in the 6th gear around 4 rpm? For instance, if this video was recorded by Top Speed Brothers, they would have reached around 230 kmh or something like that.
There is limiter at 212 kmh
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK is not.. first attemp, but then you have to kick down. There is kick down button under the gaspedal. Then you can go 6.000 rpm in sixth gear (240 km/h). But this is not good for your engine. engine is not build to do 6.000 rpm constant long time period.
@@bluepanda3020 man the car is limited i have the 130hp with automatic and i doesnt go over 205 even though i know it can its just blocked..

With a better gearbox this car would reach 215-220 km/h

@@F-MK96 Not limiting but some gearboxes just perform better than others. Some designs transmit the power more efficiently.

My friends 1.4 TSI (125hp) Leon FR is faster than this, seems a little bit slow for 140hp and such a little car. Even the new Golf (Variant) with the 2.0TDI (150 hp) is way faster than this...
really incredible that a 2.0 diesel is faster, you discovered the hot water. a hybrid is obviously slower than a petrol car even if it has a few less horsepower
Sí, quizá para el peso que tiene es algo lento. Renault nunca ha hecho motores muy rápidos, eso sí, el consumo es también muy bajo en relación a la potencia.
Stop talking nonsense. First of all i have Octavia III 2.0 TDI 150hp 6 MT and at 200 gps the speedo shows 217. Same go for all Skoda, Seat and VW cars. Their speedo is very inaccurate at high speeds. So when you think you are pulling hard after 200 in reality you are not. And 125 hp Leon is slower than 150 hp Octavia. This Clio speedo is very accurate. 203-205 speedo is 200 gps.
