As I'm disabled, can't get out to see these "live" as it were. So it's good that someone takes the time to give an insight to what is available. Thanks, the stackable trays look really good, so I'm interested in those thanks again.

Some things you just have to bite the bullet with and save up for quality gear, one of them is wood chisels, I'm a builder that specialises in joinery and I've had the same set of chisels for 10 years, and the only reason it's only been 10 years is because my last ones got theived out of my van along with everything else.

I love a rummage in the middle aisles in Aldi & Lidl but i never seem to find the good tools i see advertised or on RUclips , maybe i'm just unlucky ? Hi there Dan
As a retired Electro-Mechanical Engineer (HND) I thought that I would help you to better understand UK Voltage.
Regarding this in the UK for domestic circuits, we have a range of 216v to 253v but more often than not we get 220v AC, depending on where you live.
Regarding the cycles (although you did not mention it by name, hence this bit of info) it is 50 hertz (50Hz).
In the UK appliances and any electrical equipment that are manufactured to work at 50Hz.
Briefly, 50Hz is 50cycles per second on a waveform

Marvellous video, thanks for sharing. I have a local Aldi at the end of my street and I often like to see what they have in their middle aisle as they call it. So far I have a cordless screwdriver (unfortunately no torque adjustment but still very usable), I also have a cordless mini drill with assorted drills, grinders, polishing wheels etc, a gas torch/soldering iron (useful for any time I may need to do something outside without having trailing leads, all for silly prices too! Once again thank you for your entertaining video.

I can't deny over the years I've equipped my workshop with an eclectic range of Parkside hand and power tools from Lidl. Like their 40w plasma cutter, 80amp stick and flux core welders, cordless angle grinders, air compressor, paint spray kits and so much more. I've come to trust Parkside tools, as they've more than proven themselves reliable than their Chinese equivalents. Not to mention Lidl do some pretty nice cheap munchies with an in-house bakery. Just wish they staffed more checkouts. 👍

Never thought of looking in Aldi or Lidl for tools etc., I do a lot of fly tying and the magnetic tray would be a real boon for putting hooks in and making it easy to access them, the storage trays as well are brilliant for storing threads, tinsel and wire as well as hooks. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work, a new subscriber.

I am a electrical maintenance manager and heath and safety manager. Please do not use any make of non contact voltage detector to prove that a circuit is safe to work on.
They are not reliable and not fail safe.
Electricians use a tester and a proving unit which are expensive.
ie Fluke T90 tester £70.00 Fluke proving unit £131.00
Test the tester, test the circuit, re test the tester.
I have had to investigate when non electricians have been electrocuted and it is not nice.
This was not on one of my sites.
    Please work safely everyone.

7:04 I can verify the magnetic trays are very useful, Lidl actually do two sizes and I have one of each, very handy at the moment while I am building my decking as it holds my dilll bits and hex screws. The tool storage looks a good idea but I’ve not seen them in Aldi yet, I’ve got a lot of small tools that I keep in an old Stanley cantilever tool box so I’ll keep an eye out for them. As always Dan brilliant video I always look forward to watching when you post them on your channel, and I’ve purchased quite a few times following your recommendations.
