Im doing the jammer cai tune and did a trans tune today that fixed the shift points that were bothering me! I run 93 in it as well. You can also set your tire height with the intune. I have the i3 but that one looks pretty cool. I have a red sport crew, 2016
@RaymondLamb I just tried a throttle body spacer and I didn't like the sound so I sent it back. I have one on my car and don't mind it. As far as the trans, my truck would shift up too early sometimes like when you go to gas it after coasting and it would jerk. I drove in tow mode earlier so it would shift at higher rpm and that was better, but now it's just totally fixed so far...def worth the money imo. I also have MDS disabled via the Diablo, that's what I originally got it for. Nice truck
@KidFriendlyGaming thanks, agree about the MDS, mine drove me nuts with the exhaust I have it was constantly switching on and off and was annoying, glad it's off all the time now
So were you able to compare the tunes that came with the Tuner to the tune that you had Hemi Fever do? Besides the customer perimeters you had done with the Hemi Fever Tune, were you able to tell the difference with drivability? Did you ever confirm what ended up being the no start issue?
Hey there! I did drive around with the stock preloaded tune that I believe was the 91 Octane tune from Diablo. I think there was an 89, 91, some MPG and a few other things. I'll be honest, I couldn't tell a big difference in performance with the 91 Octane preloaded tune, maybe a little, or maybe I was trying to justify the money I'd spent. But when I loaded the Hemifever 93 Octane and transmission tune it was night and day difference, I could tell a huge improvement. It's way more lively, throttle response is so much better, and feels so much faster. I wish I had actual numbers to back it up, but I can tell a big improvement. It was worth it in my opinion. My gas mileage is still pretty decent whenever I keep my foot out of it too. And normal driving is just fine. I think my no start issue was 100% due to a loose connection when I hooked everything back up, hasn't done a single time since. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Sadly you have to order the pcm or send your pcm in to get unlocked they are lock from 2015 -up ....great video very helpful definitely can't wait to do this with my ram
That's a great point, since I bought the spare I forgot about that. I think they will send you a new one (depending on who you purchase from) but you have to send your original one in to keep the credit (core exchange deal). I think I'm remembering that correctly. Thanks for watching!
@RaymondLamb have you had any issues since your upgrade and shudder delete and fan? I do have a question on the tuner can you adjust almost anything? And with the pre loaded tunes will they work with I think the fuel here in iowa is 88 or 89 can't remember but do you think the stock tune in the program will be a huge upgrade with the shudders gone and new fan
I haven't had any issues at all so far. I did the efan, thermostat, and AGS delete all right at the same time and it's been working perfect, keeps the truck almost dead on 185 all the time. It will creep to 190 every so often. The fan would kick on with the AC on anyway, but during the winter that might have been a problem. Since I've been wanting to do the tune anyway, it was a good reason to go ahead because of the fan. Tuner set it to come on at 192 now. Again, everything is working perfect still. You can adjust a few things; fan settings, tire sizes, turn off MDS and maybe a few others. I could check if you have something specific. They have a MPG tune, 89 & 91 octane tune, some CAI tune, and maybe a few others preloaded. I tried the 91 Octane for a few days and could tell a difference, but not a huge difference. Once I loaded the custom 93 octane and transmission tune it was a totally new truck. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@ChrisDeVary it is, just pick which ones you want, choose any custom settings and let it rip. A few key cycles on/off and you're up and running. Pretty straightforward.
I hope you respond back. I pickup my Dorman 621-410 tomorrow for my 2012 Express. After watching this video, do i need that computer looking brain that you switched out on the firewall in order to change my water temperature or just the cellphone looking device that you plug in ,which looks way better than my gauges? Thank you in advance if you respond.
Hey there, you absolutely do NOT have to buy the extra PCM like I did. You can do it with just the tuner. You can even get the cheaper handheld one if you don't care about the gauges, but they are cool. I just purchased the extra one to have a spare. Hope that helps.
Hey, a little late in responding again, but someone else brought up a good point I might not have covered enough. You do have to get an unlocked PCM with the kit, but you don't have to purchase the extra one like I did. It's like a core exchange for a battery or alternator at the parts store. They send you a new unlocked PCM to install and tune, and then you have to send your original one back to them as the core exchange. So you do ultimately have to install one, but you just don't have to pay extra to keep the spare like I did. Hope that makes sense. Not sure if this is how they all do it, but it is with this setup. Just didn't want to mislead you.
@@RaymondLamb My truck is a 2012 ,I believe it's after 14 or 15 that you need to unlock it. That's what I read. And I appreciate the responses back. Too bad more people don't appreciate their audience like that. Thanks

@RaymondLamb awesome thank you for replying.....for the transmission and 89 fuel tune is it just a click and load scenario?
