Here I am in NYC unboxing my Chanel double flap jumbo handbag.
I purchased my handbag from the Chanel store on East 57th Street (just off 5th Ave) in NYC. The sales rep was Christine and she was an absolute delight who made it a very special occasion. I've been dreaming of this bag for a while so it was a proud moment being able to walk in and buy it.
Work hard. Play hard. Enjoy the rewards!

They're so worth getting excited over especially if you've waited and wondered over such a purchase. Love how the husbands get into it too! And, you needn't justify anything. You work hard so none needed. So, congratulations even though it's prob a bit late 😊

Hey I'm curious to know, are there a few dents on the front of the bag(as you look at it, they're on the left?) or is that just the lighting in the room? Sorry don't mean to put a dampner on the video I just thought designer things were immaculate!

Congratulations! I have the exact same Chanel handbag (purchased in Montreal over 3 years ago) and I absolutely treasure mine - and it has worn beautifully. Still in fabulous condition after travelling many many miles. Try not to save it for only special occasions - handbags like this deserve to live a full life! :)

This is INSANE!!! I have been visiting Chanel on 5th multiple times last month just to buy this bag, and every time I walked in, they are out of stock!! or only have it in white or beige! I ended up leaving my credit card there to pre-order!!! This is pure MADNESS how you just walked in and got it while I'm STILL struck on the waiting list!!! My SA name is Erman!!! You can always purchase preloved. There are lots of reputable resellers, such as Yoogi's Closet or Mallerie's. The RealReal may offer Chanel, but I'm not sure.

I bought the same bag (but with the silver /steel hardware), 3 years ago in the Chanel boutique in Amsterdam. =D However, the dustbag I have is plain white and I didn't get the blooklets and the manual on how to clean and I didn't get a cloth either. =( I think I will call the boutique or the office and ask if I can still have those. Because I really could use that cleaning manual. =) I love my Chanel bag. An expensive vacation is over before you know it, but a bag like this is everlasting!

That's one of my dream bags one day but I think it might be difficult to quickly open and such since it's a flap than a zipper.

Well.. I'm still in the 'honeymoon' phase of owning this bag, so it's living in its dust bag, in its box with tissue paper stuffed inside.. I do this for the first few months with every new bag.. then I get a bit more carefree and let go - I'd say the dustbag though for sure. BUT it's so pretty I do want to look at it too.. so maybe half and half??

The best video on Chanel handbag hands down. Chanel should be worn with class, maybe I am just old fashion. Not hanging on women who look desperate. Just saying. Also, you bought it for yourself vs. people going around saying their husbands bought the bags when they nagged their husbands to buy the bags. Many young ladies sit and yap when you actually show us how it looks on a YOU. Thank you.

BOUGHT MY FIRST JUMBO GH CAVIAR JUMBO MAY 1ST 2014 AFTER PRICE INCREASE :) LOVE IT , BUT ... DOES YOUR SECOND FLAP SEEMS TO BE HARD TO CLOSE AFTER YOU FILL THE BAG WITH THINGS . AND I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE BAG KINDA FEELS A LITLE STIFF ... I DONT KNOW, MAY BE I AM JUST USED TO MY GOYARD AND CELINE TOTES . CONGRATS ON YOUR PURCHASE

Honey, the little 'pouch' you get in one of the booklet, you use it to clean your bag.

I personally LOVE vintage fashion and I got this dress from Brooklyn in a little vintage store. I love it but it's not for everyone. I'm going to wear it tomorrow now and wear it proudly I will! Ha!
