I loved that Gia asked Nikolas if he's okay in this scene because I think that's part of what never happens when he's in a romantic relationship with Courtney, Emily, Liz or anyone else. None of them really ask if Nikolas if he is okay and how he is coping and there's not much done with Emily or Courtney in their relationships with Nikolas once they aren't a damsel in distress anymore. I think that Liz and Nikolas were written and got to a point where they became toxic and really couldn't help each other. Gia is the only one who isn't afraid of hurting Nikolas's feelings. Liz and Nikolas suffered a lot after Jonathan Jackson and Marisa left "General Hospital."
This storyline showed that Stavros was a human being with feelings. He wasn't just some cartoon villain who's whole life was about causing chaos. And doing evil things just because he was a member of the Cassadine family.
The Endgame storyline was altered due to 9/11 because there were going to be bombs involved, or something like that. It was supposed to be way more intricate and expansive than it turned out to be.
@@lenetra I also read that Carly was Stavros's next target to kill. I was way more interested in seeing what the original storyline he was planning for Carly. What we ended up getting was Carly humanizing him and encouraging him to form a bond with his son.

This one of the few times we see human emotions on Stavros's face. His ending made no sense.
