Fantastic interview full of information and examples, all from a fresh viewpoint. Thanks Charlie for having him on.

Another enjoyable afternoon, thanks Charlie & Mitchell.
I also know what book I will next be adding to my wee art library.

I bought the book, I agree that it is great. Apparently it is a continuation from his earlier book, thoug it stands alone.
In fairness I love both of Charlie Hunter's Streamline videos.

The second one is better than the first.

@@CharlieHunterArt Of course. That does set a high bar for the third.
I think the second one which is the field scene (?) will fit right in with some of the themes you may have had in common in the above discussion.

I also added your palette to my collection of Cobra paints that consisted mainly of boxes of their 10 paints. I haven't tried them yet, because I came across a massive sale dump of Artisan paints for 2 dollars a tube, not that Cobra is expensive. However Artisan is sorta sticky. It is greatly improved when used with turpentine outdoors. But that kinda goes against the whole point of non-toxics...

Charlie, you suggested that doing good album designs had taught you composition. I suggest that you did good album designs because you knew good composition already.

That's likely true. I should have given massive credit to my extremely thorough, if joyless, undergraduate graphic design education.
