For a linked mailbox you need a forest trust not an organization relationship. It's most used in account/resource forest szenarios.

Thank you for this amazing video.
I have an inquiry about litigation hold and permissions - user role
you mentioned that if a mailbox is out to litigation hold - the recycle BIN is never emptied.
- is this visible to Outlook client apps or only in the Exchange admin center?
I also noticed that you created a custom role policy for user role
- is this feature also available in exchange online? and is it possible to add a group instead of an individual user?
