Laura could have done it the easy way by kicking later but she showed her gritty character by putting it all out there.

@7:26 "it is not going to be setting any records"....@12:16 " the championship record goes to Laura Muir." Never let them hold you back Laura, you are the best of the best.

There has been no one like her in my lifetime. Every race she tries a different strategy. Every time, same result.

Grand. It's my awakening '. Laura Muir runs like the wind. Her belly infront, leading the way thru her snout and beautiful demeanor and shape. Praise be with her and her peers of fame in such event highlights.

Speed, power, and strength have been fluidly combined in an efficient running action, all the result of a sound training plan. But the challenge when working so intensely in training is to break out of doing reps. in thin soled shoes on hard surfaces which always eventually induces injuries. Coaches who realise this are as rare as hens' teeth. Beach and grass training benefits were propogated by Herb Elliot's coach Percy Cerutty almost a lifetime ago, but seem to have become lost within the veils of time.

Kind of like Andy Murray could never beat Djokovic, Federer or Nadal, Muir can never come close to Genzebe or Sifan

Bo Rood she’s beaten Hassan before but I think Hassan is almost in a different league now. That 3:51 in Doha was way quicker than anyone else in that field could of managed. If Dibaba was healthy I think she would of been the only one to hang or even surpass her because all the other medal contenders were dropped with 250 to go.

@@fiselfrazel1064 Genzebe beat Sifan earlier that season in Morocco, but she would have had to be in great form to beat 3:51.92
