Thank you so much Joe, I have been on 3 SMP courses and obviously, each one of those companies has there own brands of Ink/Pigment and I have been telling my students for years that all you need is a good Ink and know how to mix/dilute the Ink. I generally use World Famous Tattoo Ink but will be ordering Dynamic from now on.

Sure. All of the so called SMP inks are really just tattoo inks relabeled. You just have to figure what the original maker is 😁
Tattoo inks have been used for hundreds, even thousands of years. Not much has changed.

Light grey. When shaven down to stubble, all hair is a shade of grey + with proper blending to achieve perfect match.

My question is what ink does not turn blue or green after time?
Many many inks can be used and not turn color. A better question is how to get ink to stay without turning color. This is the required skill of a true artist 👩🎨 through understanding how the ink will settle in the skin.
Why are the “SMP” inks diluted so much more than you recommend here? Most of those inks recommend around 24:1 on lighter skins and your light mix is 4:1.
Would love your thoughts on this.
There are a couple of reasons.
Their base ink may be darker or more potent.
It’s harder to dial in exactly what’s going on when there are 20-30 different shades compared to 4 or 5. When I showed the businessman who was officially the first to sell “smp inks” (rebottled and label tattoo ink) he specifically requested I add more options for marketing purposes, not artistic purposes.
Ultimately, look at the legends specializing in black and grey tattoos. They mix it exactly as I do and showcase on RUclips. That’s where I learned :)

I'm currently practicing from home with dynamic black on a 15mm ink cup. I am a Hispanic so I tried 20 drops. rest solution. For most natural results Doing a actual procedure. How many drop would you recommend 1st 2nd or 3rd session. If Hispanic.
20-30 for each session is normal. Sometimes I go up or down on following sessions depending on what I see.

No no no. You’re getting caught in marketing trap. Use a tattoo company, tried and true and pure, lasting color.

Same thing happened to me & it wasn’t too deep, I didn’t even use numbing. 🙈 Blue scalp now from Dynamic black ink. Big mistake. Maybe I was too light handed! 🤷🏻♀️

Laser removal. Putting more ink is never the answer because doing so will only increase the “helmet head” appearance.
Is this the same as regular tattoo ink? If so won’t it turn blue or green after it heals.

It is 100% tattoo ink. There are many many different ways to make tattoo ink.
You’re referring to carbon base vs. iron oxide for example. I would never use an iron oxide based tattoo ink.
The blue or green appearance can happen with any ink if the artist goes too deep.
If you watch our channel, we are saying that 90% of the smp industry is going too deep 🤓 and nothing to do with the quality of ink.

Quest said the ink looked green not that he put it into the skin, I think by now a Lot of people studying scalp Micropigmentation realize that the depth of the needle plays a huge part on how the dot will appear on the head, too deep the bigger the dot and I think that's were people get in trouble along with not using the right equipment and pigments,

No. Never.
Doing so will only cause color changing issues long term.
How about patch test for ink how do u do it sir?
Just a small area but takes ultimate knowledge and learning experience to execute.
What qualifications do I need to become a SMP?
A mentor ship with the right company/artist.
Unfortunately, most companies provide a 3 or 4 day course coupled with a written information. That’s why the industry doesn’t have many phenomenal artists.

Never ever ever. We would have a gent come back 5 times before going so deep it turns off colors!

Another reason could be an inferior ink was used, but from what I see, it’s smp artists going too deep 99% of the time.
The guys selling “smp” ink will say it’s the ink 🙃

15-30+ drops out of 50. The variations of light skin vs dark skin is the deciding factor.

Any tattoo (or the like) supply website/store. It’s just witch hazel, iso alcohol, and water.

I use the dermimatch kit, and they say to use 11 volts.
this method only works on darker skin.. the only thing you are doing is watering down ink.. for lighter skin,Hispanic or caucasians you absolutely have to use browns in your mixture.. with all do respect..
