Mercedes Reactivate Run Flat Indicator

You are a Godsend of info. I have learned so much about my used 2008 Mercedes ML 350 SUV from your excellent videos. Have one question for you on how to get a second backup FOB for my SUV as the dealership here in Victoria, BC Canada told me that Mercedes in Stuttgart, Germany no longer provides programmed FOBs for 2008 SUVs. Do I have any other options to get a back up FOB should I lose my original FOB, which would create a major problem ... NO CAR? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

my Car keep saying check tire pressure
when all my tires are fine
and just yesterday I have bought 2 front brand new tyre
and the Tyre fitter guy said there is not valve pressure sensor your car is only standard rubber valves
But unfortunately my car still saying check tyre tyre pressure run flat indicator thanks for any answer

245/45/R17
From the feul cap
It say
Front 240 kpa
Rear 240 kpa
Now each tire is 35 psi =240 kpa just checked from Asda now

I live in Minnesota and own a 2012 ML350 4Matic. I have 2 sets of wheels with tires, all season and winter tire sets. Both have separate TPMS on them. Costco tire center refuses to honor the rotation and wheel balance policy for the winter and summer change although the wheel and tire set was bought from them saying it’s more of a luxury than maintenance when actually it’s the same service that’s done on the tires. I have decided to change the sets myself but should I set the TPMS again for the tire that is installed or once it’s set would the SUV automatically connect each time I install the set? Costco set the TPMS the first time winter change only since I paid for the service when I bought the tires but come next summer I will need to change it myself.

Hi,good video like always,but i have a question,on my ml320 i do it and reset,but than again the message is still on,i run it a coupke of times i chech the pressure in tyres wich is ok but still i get message to run flat...?! Thank.you in advance

A few things could be going on. One of the two floats or both can be faulty, showing inaccurate readings. The float(s) could be tangled up in the wiring inside the tank. These floats live inside the pump which lives inside the tank. It could be a damaged electrical connection. Does the gauge indicate any gas whatsoever? I may do a video on this.

Dear, I was scared seeing red ''Tyre Pressure - Check Tyres'' in my 2006 ML 350. Immediately took to a tyre shop. He filled the air. Later it switched off and on.. and saw a black and white message 'Run Flat Indicator' and gave the 'R' symbol followed by Yew or No. I put Yes. then it said Run Flat Indicator active. Now what should I do? Make it NO or continue driving. When this message will disappear? Many thanks in advance.

If your vehicle has run flats I would set it to yes. Does it have run flats?

Not necessarily. It means that one or more of your tires are low in pressure.

It could be a bad sensor in one or more of your wheels. Make sure all your tires are at the correct pressure. You may need to get your car scanned. I have started a diagnostic series. stay tuned for a diagnostic video on how to check these sensors in your wheels. Once you know which one(s) are the problem then a simple replacement will solve the issue.

It should be 99%-100% the same as on a 2006 ml 350. Are you finding it to be different?
