Thank you for including that knot tutorial using a rope so that it can be easily seen! Now I finally understand how to do the knot! I couldn't see it just using the tiny elastic string which so many people demonstrate in their videos. Using a rope was genius!
Very clear concise with not a lot of needless chatter. Perfect for someone with ADHD like myself. Love this video wish others would learn from you on how to make a DIY video that teaches a person exactly how to do something without endless blah blah blah lol. One of if not the best DIY videos ever made!!!!
This is the best video out there for showing the knot, crimping and the glue. Thank you so much 🙌. I'm new to bracelet making and was struggling with the knots, I'm a leftie but I'm right hand dominant. All the tutorials were so fast, my brain was arguing with my hands which themselves were disagreeing 😂 what a mess I was in. Showing the rope and at a slower speed solved everything, now both hands are friends again and my brain is ready to work with them 😅 Genuinely, thank you so much 🙌 💕
I've had 2 of my favorite bracelets break and go everywhere at church. It took me forever to find all the beads. I was worried a small child would find one. So this tutorial is excellent! Thank you!!
Just starting to make bracelets.. this is the best tutorial I have seen. Thank you for going slow and showing how to tie the end with the big string … that really helped !!!! ❤
I am so happy to have found your video!!!🎉 I used to make stretch bracelets...and they either stretched out or broke. So I stopped making them. But I've wanted to try it again and have been looking locally for a class. No success. Tried again today by doing an online search and TA-DA ...I found you. I feel excited to try again. Thank you. And I will be checking out your site.
ty! bought a few things from u all because I qm new to this and feel more confident now!!! love the stretch jewelry! my kind of craft! and new to Swiftie bracelet exchange!!!
I love it! Thanks for the knot technique. Very helpful. Question: Can I stretch the entire roll of the elastic or should only stretch what I need at the moment?
This is such an incredibly helpful tutorial!! I wish I had watched it before making 25 bracelets for the Eras Tour show! 😬 I think I might take them all apart and redo them now so they don‘t break! 😂
love the video and its super helpful but i think im doing something wrong with the knot, when i try to do it and stretch the bracelet in the end to tighten it the knot opend up again..
I’m new to making bracelets. What I’m finding is using a needle with the elastic and seed beads, it ends up being too thick to go through the bead. I ended up just using my fingers, however, to make several bracelets at a time, it is so time consuming. Do you have any solutions? Thanks so much!
I didn’t pre-stretch my string for several bracelets I just made. Would you recommend remaking them to be safe? I’ve also been using the same string you are using but I doubled the string. What I have been worrying about with that is that the string weakens in the beading needle by the end of making it. A couple times the hoop that was looped in the needle snapped. I wish I could take a picture of what I’m trying to explain lol! I apologize I am a little sleep deprived hah!
Your video is very straight forward & uncomplicated; yet fun!!!.thank you!! am new to the beading(world) but want to learn...(keep getting headaches watching other videos (guess i'm not suppose to say that, 😜😜
the double sailors knot works on every practice thread and yarn i used but not the elastic string i have for my bracelets, why is this? it's a 1 milimeter thick, clear elastic thread
Yes, it's available in our shop! Along with all of the other supplies you see here! Anything out of stock will come back into stock soon, so you can always go on the waitlist for any item you're waiting for. :) Here's the link to the glue: shop.theneonteaparty.com/collections/beading-jewelry-tools/products/g-s-hypo-cement Thank you!!
You do not need to glue them. Make 5 single knots and then 2 surgeon knots. It will not come apart. Before you start, pull the elastic as far as you can for FORTY times. This will take the slack out but not the stretch. Your bracelet will keep its shape forever. 😊
My string slips out when I try to stretch the whole thing out at the end even though I followed the steps correctly, is it the cheap string or is it me who's the problem? 😭🤣

The example with the pink cord was really helpful thank you. Nice video
I love how simple and straight to the point this video was. Not confusing and was super easy to follow! Thank you!!
First video I found explaining the knot so clearly. Thank You.
Thanks for making this video! I’ve been having a problem with bracelets coming apart.

Great tips, I will definitely try them on repairing a broken bracelet.
Thanks I have stretch magic 1mm and I am so glad I finally found someone to show me how to tie it well
Love the knot tieing demo with the big pink cord. Made the procedure so clear.

Very helpful video thanks. I did the crimp bead over the knot and it looks great. Thanks for the tip.😊
This was very helpful. Thank you for showing with an easier to see cord on how to do the double surgeon's knot. I enjoyed your video!
I love you explaining using the big rope can definitely understand what you are doing and see clearly. Thanks
Double surgeon knot didn’t work for elastic cord
This is 100% the best video for this out there. Thank you!
I love you, I could not figure out for the life of me how to do that knot..thanks Queen.😍
Thank you for the surgeon's knot demonstration! I 've never been able to follow the pictures on the back of the cord container.
Great video. Could understand more from the way you explained everything. Very helpful. Glenis

Question: Can I stretch the entire roll of the elastic or should only stretch what I need at the moment?
What an excellent video! You explain and demonstrate so well. Thank you so much!😁
Thank you!! Appreciate the big string walk through

This video is a lifesaver. Thank you!!!!
Not made any jewellery before after watching your video feel brave enough to try thank you Dor 😘
Oh my gosh tysm. By bracelets always come apart. I do have one question though, instead of using that glue, would like a nail polish top coat work??
thank you one thing you didn't say were you brought your stretch thread at. maybe I might be able to find it at Walmart.
Thank you for this video. You are very fun and friendly and colorful.
Great tip on the Washi tape!
love the video and its super helpful but i think im doing something wrong with the knot, when i try to do it and stretch the bracelet in the end to tighten it the knot opend up again..
I’m just starting my own small busdiness I love stench magic
Once I had this problem all over and over again with my favorite blade bracelet
Thank you! for showing how to tie using the pink rope! it helped me ALOT!
I love that knott
Can u please show the knots , for the adjustable bracelet, i think it's the square knot with the colorful large rope.Would be so helpful.
Thank you so much my beats don’t pop now, but I have one question what type of beads were you using the colorful ones
Will the metal bead wear the elastic over time? Just wondered because it will not be a smooth as the beads.
Great tutorial! 👍👍
thank you. but my elastic knot does not hold when you put on your hand and is lose
Thank you, sweetie! ❤🙏
Excellent video!

This happens to me, too; I understand exactly what you mean! Wish I knew the solution!
very helpful...thank you so much!
Can that knot work with doubled string?
Thank you.
Thank you,blessings!
This was so helpful! Thank you!!
Are there any good hypo cement alternatives?
excellent video
Your video is very straight forward & uncomplicated; yet fun!!!.thank you!! am new to the beading(world)
but want to learn...(keep getting headaches watching other videos (guess i'm not suppose to say that, 😜😜
How long did you make your string?
Do you have to use glue if you don’t have it or don’t have the money for it
the double sailors knot works on every practice thread and yarn i used but not the elastic string i have for my bracelets, why is this? it's a 1 milimeter thick, clear elastic thread
This was so helpful 👍🏾!
I want to make several bracelets as gifts. How do I know how long my elastic should be & how many beads I need? I know it will be an estimate.
Measure your wrist or their wrist to compare. If you can’t guess compared to yours. Teh average length is 6in-8in
how to hide the knots in smaller bead bracelets ?
I tried this numerous times and it would not hold. 😢 I was using 1mm cord. Could that have been the problem? So disappointed.
10:40 mark for the win!!
Soo helpful ❤
Can you please tell me where you purchase the g-s hypo cement glue?

You’re my savior 😭😭
Will the knot come open if you don’t use glue
Awesomeness 🌈🫶🏼🌻🫶🏼❤❤❤❤
The knot, you glue it, what happened? Before it's dry, what do you do with it? The beads are sticking together, I don't know what to do?
You do not need to glue them. Make 5 single knots and then 2 surgeon knots. It will not come apart. Before you start, pull the elastic as far as you can for FORTY times. This will take the slack out but not the stretch. Your bracelet will keep its shape forever. 😊
New sub here...great tutorial...tfs...❤❤❤
I only have hot glue. Would that work as well?
Hi there!! Please do not use hot glue for this. You can burn your fingers and melt the string/beads! Glad you asked! -Marisa
This didn’t work for us. It fell apart and we followed instructions to the T. Any idea why? The knot comes loose immediately.
I think it depends on what brand of stretch elastic that is used.
Very nice lady thankyou x
I have alway wanted to make a bracelet🎉
can anyone tell me what the strongest elastic is for this type of thing?
.8 doubled
TFS!
I don’t have any tape and scissors
