how many times have you nearly broke something in this kitchen already you know what you should do, in the new kitchen, add some proper places for your cameras, like hanging points from the ceiling, so you don't have to keep moving cameras etc and have them in the way etc
HI CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE POLISH GOŁABKI (CABBAGE ROLLS STUFFED WITH RICE AND MINCE) THERE ARE LOTS OF RECIPES ON RUclips AND OTHER WEBSITES TOO!, also love, this my dad is from india and my mam is from poland and we live in ireland!, so hi from ireland! 💚🤍🧡
That has to be one of the most mouth watering meals you’ve ever done. I wish I could eat it right from the screen! Good luck with the new kitchen. It’s looking very exciting.
Nothing wrong with having a few recipes that you come back to every few weeks. Back when I was a kid, we had spinach, potatoes, and scrambled egg every second Friday and it was ok. Just another family tradition.
I made these for my parents hehe . Plus some salad and a few chips. Went down a treat. Got more marinading since I'm back home now. Dad said the caramelized onions were the best.
I was also mid renovation when we went into lockdown. I had no water in my kitchen, no counter tops or cabinets, and I was cooking on a single burner induction stovetop in my spare room for 6 weeks. I can sympathize with your situation! I’m glad to no longer be washing dishes in my bath tub ☺️.
Hi Barry first of all love your videos... Secondly I found that if you brush your pan with a little bit of olive oil it enhances the flavour of the flat bread and adds a nice crunch to it...
One of the kickstarter backers here. I can't wait, especially when I just saw you use that garlic press again. My old one really sucks🙈 Can hardly believe backers would stalk you about it, we've gotten some pretty understandable updates. Just be patient you guys. I have no doubt all will be fine, even if it understandably takes a bit longer. But i agree, can hardly wait to get my hands on those gadgets 🤩🤩 it is going to make the prepping and cooking so much easier 👌
I used to help my father who was a superintendent of a construction company. I did grunt work when we were on a site. I can literally smell that unfinished room! :P
I also have loads of spices! I had to buy a cheap box to put them all in to keep them "organised", I did the same thing with some spices, herbs and garlic the other day with greek yogurt to make tacos and they came out amazing. Will have to try these too, they look amazing
Barry, I bought a pack of these things from Lodge brand, which make cast iron pans, and they are called pan scrapers, made of polycarbonate. It was like $2 for a 3 pack and I've only used one of them for the past few years. They're little scrapers the size of a credit card and very hard, yet a tiny bit flexible, and with tapered sides, corners and one rounded side. They are designed specifically to scrape bad messes off any pan without EVER damaging cast iron or nonstick coatings, and I've even used them to scrape the adhesive off glass after removing stubborn labels, without a single scratch, they're amazing, I got them on Amazon I think.
To make flatbreads that don't crack when you curve them, you can use more moisture or fry them on an overturned wok. This makes it already primed to hold things.
I just made a version of this with the rub only and some rice with veggies in it. What can I say other than "oh my, that was stonking". Even my partner complimented it by saying it was almost like how her mum used to make the dish. I'll certianly be making this again and cam't wait to try with yogurt added.
@@ProMilkshake they always advise on the safety instructions for grills to leave the door open but I may be wrong as it is a different grill/oven to conventional ovens 😊
Hello Barry! This is the first recipe from you that I've ever tried and I gotta say it turned out wonderful! I didn't know what to expect cuz after tasting the 'yogurt and chocolate sauce' mix it tasted quite meh, but after spending a night in the fridge it must have done its magic :D the only thing that surprised me was that you didn't mention adding any salt to it, so I added a tiny bit of soy sauce and a little salt to the mix. I also replaced the chicken with turkey fillets because that's what I already had at home. I think the caramelized onions do wonders here, that sweet taste mixes so well with the spicy flavour of cayenne and turmeric, the cucumber adds a nice freshness to it, and the yoghurt breads feel so light and delicate. It tastes like such an exquisite dish while being really easy to make, 10/10 would recommend and do again. Think I'll have to try more of your recipes! ❤️
Also i like your extension. May I ask, are you going to have an eating area on the kitchen Island? because the worktop surface is slightly longer than the island itself.
I don't have that exact one, but I have a fairly largish one and yep, I use it wayyyy more than the full size oven! I live the US Southern states, where it gets hot a lot, so not turning on the big oven is very appealing.
sigh, I do not know why I watch so many cooking shows when I have been lactose intolerant for 20 years or so, lol... as always fun show Barry, many social distance hugs :)
@@robchissy hehe, I feel your pain brother, lol.. still fun to see, and I learn a little each time I guess, I just have to make up my own recipies in my head, which is what barry always encourages, lol... experiment
I had been meaning to try the tiktok egg sandwich for a month maybe, tried it but pan too hot, threw in 4 birds eye chillies and added cayenne pepper, black pepper, a little salt, best scrambled egg sandwich ever! ajajajaja edit:think I added some chilli sauce etc also, I have no idea, I just did not want to waste the eggs
I love how you say it tastes like heaven then ask boston, when hes thinking, "no, heaven would be if you dropped the whole thing on the floor for me." Lol. Thats how my dog and cat are anyway. They can't wait for me to drop stuff when i cook. As if i dont sneak and give them bits while im cooking. Haha

I speak pug, they said "Stonking!", and I agree.
your new kitchen reminds me of good eats, alton brown was the chef and I just got a blast of nostagia; thank you mate I needed that.
When I saw the first few seconds of the video I thought: “Oh, this is going to be one of those episodes again 😅”.
The new kitchen looks amazing! Can't wait to get more updates on it!
Thanks it’s going to be a bit of a tease for a bit longer sadly as we need to wait on flooring etc but the ovens went in today
Can't wait for the new Kitchen to be done. I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE NEW KITCHEN MEMORIES.

The new kitchen looks really similar to the barn in layout. Can't wait for it to all finish and for you to get a bit of normality!
Looking forward to trying this one, looks amazing! Really want to try the flatbread too. Thanks for the meal idea.

You got a great colour on that chicken and without a tandori oven. Brilliant. Can't wait to try it. Do a butter chicken masala too😋

Make a batch of the onions and store in sealed jars, makes it much easier. I use balsamic vinegar which works a treat.
