Idk what's worst. the desperate propaganda effort to convince people everybody have cars in NK despite all evidence, or westerners believing from the bottom of their hearts that cars for all is the sign of a healthy society because they've been fed another kind of propaganda all their life without even knowing.

The scariest thing is that these parents/whoever is running this idea, must have had this in their minds way before the girl could speak or was even born.
No one is learning English in NK, so there is no way she learned it in school or "just for fun". It was all calculated and they picked this girl as their hostage for this thing to pull off.

If you're lucky, you're either in North America, Western Europe, or Oceania. If you're in Oceania, it depends on whether you're arachnophobic or not.
If you're a bit unlucky, you're either in Eastern Europe or South America.
If you're unlucky, you're either in Middle East or Middle Asia.
If you're very unlucky, you're in the wealthy parts of Africa, which aren't wealthy compared to the world.
If you're the unluckiest... well, you're either in North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkmenistan or the unwealthy parts of Africa.
As for me, I'm between bit unlucky and unlucky. Though it was considerably lucky decades ago. Regulations today seem to decrease the luckiness, though, but not to the bottom hopefully.

I found this channel recently and these videos are so well made. Hoping you continue to grow! Can I make a request for better ending bumpers? I noticed many of the videos feel like they end mid paragraph, I often listen while I'm walking and don't realize the video ended . A "thanks for watching fern" or sound effect would be very welcome and might add some brand identity. Keep up the good work!

Umm, Jaka Parker is an Indonesian diplomat family that was there for a few years and then moved to another country. His RUclips channel can give you a glimpse of ordinary life in North Korea.

You can travel to NK or watch travel vlogs. To build a picture on your own. But if you travel there you need to know that you help them to finance their military…
theres also guy from scandinavia who went and did all that and then went even deeper looking into stuff like arms manufacturing etc
@@vini-York_Oxmall Pretty sure all of the tours in NK are run by the state so you only see whitewashed, sanitized locations specifically built for tourists rather than what the country is actually like.

If anyone's interested, those rifles they use in their parades is their pride, the Type 88-1, a clone of AK-74. Its recognizable from the AK 74 frame and hollow (likely to cut cost) side folding stock. There is also a newer Type 88-2, with a 75-round helical magazine and top folding stock. There is also a S&T K11 clone which maybe an expert can explain more, I can't find anything regarding it.
At 2:36 you see a clip from Jaka Parker. He is a Indonesian Diplomat. He is the only infiltriert source from North Korea. His Videos give of an eerie and depressing vibe

Firstly, let me outline the aim of my channel which you seem to have missed. It is not 'North Korean propaganda' but rather aims to expand the North Korean narrative by showing a different side than what the main stream media shows. The mainstream media might not be wrong, bt it does not show the full and representative picture. I show one side, they show the other. This way, people can gain a fuller picture.
Sure, it is propaganda if you want to see it that way. In the same way a travel influencer showing only the good sides of the US or Bali is, too. But no one calls them out for that. Sure, I understand North Korea is incomparable, but we should ask ourselves why we are so adverse and unbelieving to seeing this 'other side' of North Korea that is indeed real and not fake.
You mention that you were 'unable to verify' if I have any government affiliations or if I receive money from the government. Well, you could have tried asking for starters instead of further spreading this misinformation. I can verify it for you here; I do not, have never, and will never have any connection, monetary or otherwise, with the North Korean government. I work with Koryo Tours and the North Korean tour company directly for tourism purposes only.

The last presidential election of Indonesia went hand in hand with patronage politics and benefits of president Prabowo. @@jxxxxx44 the same way the are elected in NK, the Kin family has been elected over and over due to the history of NK formation as a country and many other political, social and historical reasons, there are more than one party at the electoral system in NK and they do have representation there, it's like looking at the US and saying that because only the democrats or republicans rule, it's also a dictatorship, does that make any sense? Where is the representation for the other parties? See where I'm going with this line of thought? Also, next time you see some news regarding NK check if the source is from Radio Free Asia, they are sponsored by the CIA and the US government and this is no conspiracy so take from that information what you will, they are open about it also; like she said in the comment, it may be propaganda if you are willing to see it as that, but why does this kind bothers people so much while the image of a perfect country is A-OK for other places?

Yes, that's not exactly the quote but its meaning is spot on.
When South Korea BLOCKS North Korean content, they are NO BETTER than North Korea.
It would be wiser to ensure there's a counterbalance to all the glorified content coming from NK. All you need is a satellite live feed over NK to see that, not everyone in NK owns a car. Not all of NK looks like a resort or playground. Much of NK is dreary miserable farmland, and it's not green and fertile but rather gray, muddy, wet and poorly maintained.
The only places you may film in NK are the places that look nice. If you film anywhere else you'd be lucky to get out alive.
