  • Monday morning's hike with Cane and my buddy Michael to a thirsty Lick Creek Falls.. Although the falls were just barely more than a trickle, it was still a nice, cloudy hike with several newt salamanders out enjoying the days too 🤙

Nice job David. I grew up about a half mile from the trailhead. We had our own trail from our property that joined Lick Creek Trail before the steel stairs. I’m sure it’s long gone by now. I spent a lot of time up and down that stream, hiking, camping, riding bicycles and just exploring in my youth. Sure, it would have been nicer with more water flowing but it’s gorgeous anyway. Great memories for me! Take care David.

That's awesome, glad I could help bring those memories back.. and yeah better flow would've been nice, but still a great hike

Lovely video. Would the hike be good for an 11 year old or would it be too strenuous?

@AppalachianWoman77 thanks for watching, and I think an 11 year old would do just fine on this hike 👍
